World Endurance Championship 2023
Drive for the LMH, LMP2 or LMGTE category in the WEC 2023

This was a special one for me, as I was at the 24 Hours of Le Mans this year to watch Ferrari pass the start/finish line. An incredible moment, and I've wanted to re-create this since. Now that I've got some spare time, here it is.

This is a custom championship created around a collection of cars, skins and tracks, created by the extremely talented people here. This mod includes the purchasing of six paid cars from designers United Racing Design which comes to a total of €25. Please support them.

Installation (in this order)

Note: It would be easier if I bundled everything up to install in one go, but there's a few reasons why I wouldn't. Firstly, it's a waste of resources hosting two of the same file. Secondly, if the resource is updated, I'd also have to update mine which takes time. Lastly, the original creators of the below assets should get the recognition and the download count, not me.



Step 01.
Download and install the following cars. Simply drag and drop into Content Manager to install.

Step 04.
Place the contents of the 'champs' folder within this download into:

C:\Users\YOURNAME\Documents\Assetto Corsa\champs

Tips

• Faster than the AI? Edit the championship (Content > User Championships) and edit the grid preset. At the bottom, add your own restrictor and/or ballast.
  
  
• Want to change your main car? Edit the championship (as above) to swap it. Remember to add your car back into the AI grid, and remove the new car you're driving from the AI grid.

Troubleshooting

• If the AI's ballasts/restrictors are showing 0, the time multiplier showing 0, or any other errors, reload the championship in Content > Miscellaneous > User Championships. This is due to CM not recognising changes to championships.
  
  
• If you receive:
  
  "AC ran into a critical error:
  CANNOT HAVE 0 CARS IN RACE.INI"
  
  Then there is an issue with the track installations. Remove and re-install the tracks.

Notes

• If you'd like the same car previews that I'm using, download my Transparent Thumbnails mod to use the new preview style for Content Manager.
  
  
• You can tweak race times, AI numbers, your starting car and race lengths by altering the championship in Content Manager > Content > Miscellaneous > User Championships.
