Once the rear end steps out release the foot brake and then use the handbrake to control the car around the corner by varying the amount of handbrake and throttle applied as you power through the corner

Sadly... most of us here have ON/OFF handbrake, you know... button can be only on or off.
I don't have some expensive setup, only my trusty G29. Ok, maybe I could use one of my Logitech 3D joystick as a analog handbrake but... it's too complicated. And you know... it would definitely look weird on my table. Plus, really, I have no place on my table to place it firmly.

Do you have the games difficulty set to realistic? also which physics/performance are you using?

Superarcade, IA faster mod, realística ,but it was easier than the original AI. Change now to "default plus" and origin AI, realistic, and it is more interesting

Thanks again for great work. Brake mode is ok I think no problem on that so far. The problem I encountered is with 180hp cars (didn’t tested others) while starting to accelerate from stop, gear is constantly switching between 1st and 2nd gear for a while. Also speed is going up and low. It is more obvious and lasts longer while going uphill. I needed to disable ced‘s settings and it turned back to normal. However ced’s settings felt more realistic I hope it got fixed.

Well, it is junior wrc car ford fiesta R2, and tried in mexico el chocolate track which is currently the event track.

The true is that i forgot the test on autogear. That's why we need people testing the mods for give us feedback. And we will get the game better

Thanks for everyone who has been making this mod, especially AgentHex. Even thought I haven’t got the force feedback to feel as good as RBR, Dirt rally and Assetto, windshield dirt mod alone makes the game 100 times better. I can’t understand why developers think that your windscreen should get dirty, without any obvious reason, just after driving few kilometers.

Even more sad that they don’t want to improve the game with the simracers and also keep making all the same mistakes again and again, like awful multiple controls support. Codemasters should be given the WRC license...

Anyway, Thanks for making this game better!

Thanks for updated version. Hovewer, i drive only R5 cars (Fabia) and after this update i can feel so low of engine power. Acceleration is really slow (Ced's Performance Mod). And gear change too. In real rally car it is much faster. View from cocpit is too dark, even darker under trees. Rest is nice.

I am not an expert,but I think we overdone it with the engine.It feels like it lacks of torque.In Ced's video it was looking better...I don't know if after the video more changes have been made.
