I've lost headlights on AI cars at night with Sol 1.3.1 and CSP preview 198.
Any ideas folks? It's driving me mad.

Yes, and I tried Sol and Sol_ACC. No change.

guys if there were 10 stars it would be that, outstanding job, i will do a donation too. Any plan to implement some slipping of the tires while raining?!?i know is a mess, also rain tires and AI changing pace if rain comes...If you can also simulate the changing temp during the night and so low press your mod would be superior to anything around!!!Just dreaming

Just installed the latest Sol alpha and STILL no headlights on AI cars. Can't understand it.

Anyway following the guide the smoke is alwais on, anything i am missing?!?

I get this too, tried deleting and reinstalling both SOL and CSP. No joy. Everything else works perfectly and this mod is incredible. Just wish I could figure this one little thing out.

Hi Peter,

Thanks for all of your hard work in making AC so much better. With Sol 1.31, I get rain on the windshield and smoke/dirt when starting a race or going off track, but I no longer have any mist kicked up by cars when following them in the rain. Any tips for getting rain spray/mist enabled in 1.31?

Yes I have the same issue. Any ideas how to solve would be great.

Never mind I worked it out. In CSP settings - Particles FX, make Smoke(WIP) inactive.
Not sure if this affects the smoke effects with dry weather but it brought back the rain spray.

You could just change the "__Sol.ini" file yourself. You have to raise the length and lower the attenuation in GODRAYS.

You have to uncheck "sol_modifies_godrays" in the sol_config app.

Didn't work. Default ppfilter got the amount of glare I want but with other sol filter nothing yet. Nevermind, thank you!
