You and me both, mate. I'm a fan of AMS 2 because of it's unusual content so am not at all excited by the upcoming "standard" stuff. I won't be running GT3s every week myself when they're released... we already have an entire sim dedicated to that running daily club races.

I really can't understand why there are no more sign ups... Is everybody just scared of oversteering or what??

I participating in another league, which has started a new season. Raceday is also Tuesday (bi-weekly).
Maybe i can join the Club race next week. We'll see.

Don't pick the Iveco guys... despite they fact the trucks race this track in real life, there's a bridge over the pit lane which that truck can't fit under! The Merc just about fits... not sure about the others.

I messed up and didn't have the right sound source selected for race one. Race two (31:30) should have sound though.

That turned into a bit of a nightmare..... Couldn't select any options before race 1 to top up fuel or start race so was disqualified. Waited patiently for race 2 but when I got in I wasn't in a truck, but floating slightly above the track Steering wheel then went hard right and by time I re-loaded I couldn't get back in.

Hoping for better luck next week!

Well, that was a lot more fun that I expected, to be honest! Once you get the hang of these things they're great fun to drift around. Really enjoyed the start of race two battling with two of you for the first couple of laps, and then the recovery drive after I spun off.

Never raced these before, but I now think they're severely underrated in terms of fun factor. A decent sized grid would probably require a relaxation of our usual club rules, since driving and especially passing in these things is as much luck as it is skill. But I reckon it would be a good laugh.

That turned into a bit of a nightmare.....

To be honest mate, I think there was something wrong with the game. When practicing alone in the VW, my steering also pulled hard right. I believe the same happened to Morne in the VW too. Then I was first on the server, but when others joined I couldn't see them on track. Their names were in the list but their trucks were not visible, and the monitor function just showed a camera flying around and clipping through terrain. Then I saw at least two people connecting/disconnecting, seemingly unable to stay on the server.

So yeah... there was definitely something going on, so it wasn't just you.

Ditto with steering wheel issue, twice and once with no controls at all.

Ended up working for both races and was fun. I agree with a relaxation of the normal rules very easy to get it all wrong.

Yeah, sorry about not trying to join race 2, I was just annoyed at the sim messing up!

I am looking forward to the classic DTM race this evening though! See you guys next time!

Additional Information​

1) When signing up you must post your Steam ID, so that we know who is who.

2) You must ensure that you have read and understood our Racing Club Rules before signing up. Ignorance is no excuse.

3) Do not click the Exit button at the end of qualifying. Just wait for the session to advance automatically.

4) There will be a two minute timer between qualifying and the race. You must confirm you are ready before it ends or you will be automatically DQ'd.

5) If the event uses a two race format, you will be returned to the lobby after race one. Simply head back to the track and there will be a five minute "super-pole" followed by race two.

6) We strongly advise the use of Crew Chief, an app which gives you a spotter during races. This will provide audio cues when cars are alongside, greatly increasing your awareness and reducing the frequency of unnecessary incidents.
