Additional Information

1) When signing up you must post your Steam ID, so that we know who is who.

2) You must ensure that you have read and understood our Racing Club Rules before signing up. Ignorance is no excuse.

3) Do not click the Exit button at the end of qualifying. Just wait for the host to advance the session.

4) You must manually confirm that you are ready before the timer preceding the race ends or you will be automatically DQ'd.

5) If the event uses a two race format, you will be returned to the lobby after race one. Simply head back to the track and there will be a five minute "super-pole" followed by race two.

6) We strongly advise the use of Crew Chief, an app which gives you a spotter during races. This will provide audio cues when cars are alongside, greatly increasing your awareness and reducing the frequency of unnecessary incidents.

I felt like the cars had changed in handling quite a bit after the update, didn’t have time tonight to sort out the handling to my liking.
There seemed to be some lag between players as twice I saw someone take someone else out pretty hard! Race 1 T1 as an example (well actually before T1!)

Morning boys,

enjoyed it quite lot. I would definetrely appreciate more racing in dusk, dawn or dark. It just looks awesome. Maybe in case of two races per evening one in daylight and one in dusk or dawn?
AMS2 has enormous graphical potential, I would like to enjoy this beauty in our races also...would be cool...

BTW: When will there be the first race with rain??

Anyway,
that was my view of the evening:

First race (a window opened before start just by looking at it in VR, that screwed my start a bit.

Second race, also fun but to many mistakes:

See you next time, have to test the trainers now.

Cheers Dan

PS.: Concerning first corner madness, maybe @Goffik could join us at discord and tell everybody again to be careful on first lap, as staff does in other clubs. Just an idea :)

I was slow and tried to keep out of the way without just giving places up. I must say though that I'm disappointed in people ignoring track limits constantly, I wouldn't have been quick but could easily have shaved 1 plus seconds off by following the lines I saw some using (the two videos above being a good example). This only works if we all play by the same rules.

We do. AMS 2 has it's own track limit detection and penalties are enabled on RD servers. While AMS 2's system may not be perfect in the detection department, it does apply to all drivers in the same way. In other words, everyone can take the same lines (and cuts).

I realise this isn't "perfect" and it would be great if every driver was completely honest and fair and never drove beyond the lines. However, this is the real world. Some people will take whatever advantage they can. In this case, just use the same advantage yourself.

Fair enough, from now on I will observe others and then follow the group.....
