@Sasha Jednak you were super-close to the podium again, what do you need to make that last step?
Another DNF in front :roflmao: All the jokes aside, even though we are still without podium it was very good result for us in this race. And all we need is trouble free race and some more improvements on the car for that final step. Since our planned upgrades should be ready for Hockenheim, we are hoping to reach podium there.

FANGIO EDGES OUT VERSTAPPEN

Juan Manuel Fangio took pole position by 0.018 seconds as Verstaqppen found himself second, the only championship contender in the top 5. Elio de Angelis in 9th was the highest driver not with the maximum x1.20 enigne power at this power circuit, with the newly upgraqded Falcon allowing Senna and prost to end up 11th and 13th respectively. Brundle was out of position in 16th, while 2KF1 continued their slide down the grid in 17th and 22nd. Bad Rain Motorsport finally make their debut, running a test session by qualifying at the back of the grid.

Finally. Back on the winners board. It's been ages not up there, so it's nice to finally get our second win of the season, although the rivals were all still a bit close. Luckily some bad luck hit the second NLE and Harvey cars to increase our advantage again.

BARTHEZ REJOINS CHAMPIONSHIP LEAD WITH WIN

Fabien Barthez took his first win of the season since Argentina with a dominant drive in Germany. He stormed up the pack from 8th on the grid to turn around a recent slump in form and passed his competition to win by 23 seconds. He was joined on the podium by his nearest championship challengers though, meaning Verstappen leads the driver's championship on countback by number of second places, with Button just 7 points back. Chris Hoy was the only other driver from the top 3 teams to have a clean race, with his 4th place allowing DTK Racing to reclaim the Constructors championship lead. Late race drama thwarted Nyck de Vries after a front wing change, and Martin Brundle became a rolling chicane late in the race. Having lost his front wing on a backmarker, Brundle pitted to replace it, but lost the new one in the pitlane after an unsafe release by Falcon Motorsport's Alain Prost. He decided not to change the wing, keeping a spot in the points for many laps, before a long line of cars trying to unlap themselves queued up behind him. This exacerbated itself massively on lap 42, when Brundle got confused by the Kas Racing cars trying to unlap themselves and stopped on track, causing a roadblock. Rossi, Alonso, Clark and de Vries had to push their way through the mess before it all got going again, but drivers found the "train of pain" a nightmare to lap as Brundle still held up a load of drivers.

MARKET IS OPEN

Interviews
@Jimlaad43 @Lesley Buurlage @Millsy24, three races to go and the championships are all super-close. What do you think will be the deciding factor as we head towards the end?
@Márk Lintner congratulations on finally making the top 10! Do you think you can get into the top 10 in the championship soon?
@Aidan Keranen 2KF1 Racing have been slowly sliding down the grid recently. What needs to be done to solve this?
@kevintaddo10 how do you think the team did on their debut?

That was not a bad debut, the most important thing is bring the car at home. Jean was really unlucky with the mechanical failure, we need to improve hard. On the market we have high hopes, to improve the car in both performance and reliability.

Now the results have been published, there's no need to put your comments in a spoiler :)

the same thing as it has been all season: staying out of trouble. If you can't bring it home you won't get the results you need. We don't care about dominating the season, all that matters for us is being on top after the final round, and that's what we'll aim to do
