This is what i'm working on
You could try just useing transparent textures for the driver model maybeDoes anyone know how I can make the complete driver model invisible? @A3DR you did that on the Carmageddon car iirc
As far as I know you name the dummy (inside the driver.ini or something) of which all child objects should be hidden. So if you make that entry the root dummy (can't recall the name, but the hips I believe) it might work. You could try just useing transparent textures for the driver model maybe
I did it via scaling the driver tiny in the steer.ksanim. Blender for some reason allows scaling operations on the driver model. Driver is now as big as a thumb and hidden in the bodyworkAs far as I know you name the dummy (inside the driver.ini or something) of which all child objects should be hidden. For transparency to work, the material needs to support that. And I highly doubt it does as ACs materials are quite specific for their tasks.

I couldn't resist.... So basically something like this mate?I've changed the system units from 1.0 to 0.005 or something like that on the driver scene, and exported it so it'll be really small and with CM moved it into the fixed driver model.

...now what does that do?
Thanks x4fab for the FX code to work from
finally the driver is inside the carFor a start, proper flake-in-the-basecoat metallic paint... but really this is almost anything that math can imagine.
Or, slightly less subtle
on an unrelated note I did the steering wheel and dash and stuff a while ago and never posted pics cause I was out of town digging holes so, sneak peek.
Yep, I was able to do this using the latest preview version of the mod:x4fab also seems to solved the different tyre compound textures.
in latest video on youtube.
Yeah, he finally has a seat. And even though it's a big american car had the usual problem that his spine's a solid 15cm too long to comfortably fit between the seat and the roof. So he's both scaled down 92% and had some spine compression done.finally the driver is inside the car
