We want your questions! This Wednesday 10th June we are recording a panel discussion between Marco Massarutto (Kunos), Anthony Comas (SRO), Chris Haye (YouTube) and Paul Jeffrey (RD) - so ask us anything!

To air as part of our pre-race build up show for the final round of the SRO E-Sport GT Series AM Championship on Saturday 20th June, RaceDepartment are hosting a sim racing themed panel discussion with the Co-Founder and Executive Manager of Kunos Simulazioni, Marco Massarutto, the Marketing Manager at SRO Motorsports Group, Anthony Comas, YouTube sim racing favourite Chris Haye and RaceDepartment Editor-in-Chief Paul Jeffrey - and we want our community to fire some questions over for the panel to discuss!

Have you ever wanted to know anything about the rise of GT3 racing, what happens behind the scenes at the GT World Challenge and their venture into esports racing? Are you interested to find out more about the excitement and intrigue of serious sim racing development? Curious as to what it takes to produce high quality videos as one of the most popular sim racing YouTube creators on the internet? Do you...., errr, well I'll be present too, for whatever that's worth!

Get your questions submitted as soon as possible, we will be recording the show on Wednesday afternoon so you don't have long! Our panel discussion will be aired on the RaceDepartment Twitch channel Saturday 20th June as part of a mammoth day of sim racing content, as we build up to the final race of the SRO E-Sport GT Series AM Championship.

Should be fun!

1. Is it possible for CP races in Asia or Aus? Probably Singapore is the best location for drivers.(The ping of these two areas is about 100-150ms)
2. Will you give us some public APIs about drivers' profile(including race results) or make a website like iRacing?

Kunos question: Are we having a look at improving there Driver swap feature,So that the driver doesn't have to change pressure's,Tire's,fuel load's in a Enduro race..A system that work's well is iracing's driver swap and spotting/guy in charge or changing pressure's,fuel take's a load off the driver.not having to do 4 thing's at once bit of a task
Many thanks Aaron :D

I have a vers simple question for the ACC Team.

Will we ever have available one of the most beloved functionality of all time in simracing. I mean, something equivalent to the GPLrank ???

I can not understand why a feature which has kept motivation intact for about 20 years and thousands of grand prix legends fans is not implemented. It would be so great.

Make your lap as you like, offline or online.
One clic and export your best laptime to the rank, and look at your performance.

Why this genial thing doesnt exist??

Marco Massarutto
When you started building ACC did you have E-Sports in mind? Has the E-Sports climate changed much since then? (before Covid-19), do you think ACC could be meeting that demand better with the broadcast element? Where do you want it to be?

Anthony Comas
No real life racing (yet), from a Marketing perspective what has been the most challenging thing with having no racing? Have you been impressed with the quality of driving in the SRO E-Sports Championship? We all know the AM have shown the Pro and Silvers how it's done, has that surprised you at all?

Chris Haye
As someone who doesn't develop games, if you were in a developers shoes and was given a budget for racing game. What would you do? Aim for mass market or do something a bit more niche, or perhaps do something that has not been done before?

Paul Jeffrey
When are you going to cut your hair properly?

Marco:
1. What was the most difficult physics component to develop for ACC? Aero simulation, bumpstop simulation, suspension geometry simulation?

2. Are there any plans to host official competitions similar to the SRO eSport GT Championship for the Asia and North American regions?

Paul:
1. What is your opinion and stance on the involvement and rise of real racing drivers in sim racing? Do you feel that they appreciate the seriousness and realism of sim racing or do they still view it as an everyday videogame? Like Mario Kart, Need For Speed etc.

Anthony:
1. Are there any plans for the SRO to promote sim racers into the GT World Challenge, perhaps initially as a GT4 entrant with an option to be evaluated for GT3 racing at a later stage? Similar to Sony, Polyphony Digital and Nissan giving opportunities for GT Academy graduates.

2. Beyond COVID-19, do you envisage sim racing being seen in a completely different light or do you feel that once real racing starts, real teams and drivers will focus on this and forget about sim racing?

Chris:
1. In streaming and video content on YouTube, what do you feel is most intriguing and has changed the most since the COVID-19 situation?

To Marco/Kunos: Will it be possible to change the value for when you get a DriveTrough for tracklimits? At the moment it is always 3 warnings and after that the DT, but could you make an option that lets us change that value to 10 for example? it would be better for endurance racing in a league, because 3 warnings for something like a 3 or 6 hour race is really harsh in my opinion.
