A bit speed-ed up due conversions and compressions. A whole year ago tho, working to make it as it should work

I’ve been upgrading since this post https://www.racedepartment.com/threads/show-your-cockpit.19/post-2869990

At the urging of my wife, I moved my rig out of the cold dark basement to a more hospitable part of our home. I just finished getting everything put in place and it just fits on the upper flat portion of the riser for our theater seating, though I did have to remove two theater seats.

The specs:

Alienware Aurora R7 i7 8700, 16GB RAM, 1TB NVMe SSD, 1TB HDD, GTX 1080Ti

3 MSI AG32CQ 31.5” 144Hz curved monitors on a Fast Track Sims stand. Viewing distance to the center monitor is 24 inches and the side monitors are at a 60 degree angle.

Oculus Rift

Race Room Game Seat RR3033 w/ Gametrix Jeatseat that I incorporated into the seat.

Buttkicker LFE on each side of seat and a Mini LFE on each side of the pedal plate powered by Behringer Inuke DSP amps.

Klipsch Pro Media 4.1 speaker system, Corsair VOID pro USB headphones.

Fanatec DD1, ClubSport Universal Hub w/ R300 wheel, CS F1 2019, CS pedals V3, CS shifter SQ V1.5, CSL McLaren GT3.

@ko41 I like your home cinema and the rig of course!

Could you please give a word regarding the difference from the "original" Buttkicker on the side of your seat to the smaller Buttkicker beside your pedals? I use an IBeam VT-200 transducer similar to your "original" Buttkicker in my home cinema setup. Do the smaller ones also produce fast, punchy hits or rather only deep frequency shaking?
Thinking of adding a Fisher amp or similar to my Rig in the future.

Cheers!

I would say that the shaking that they produce is very similar between the two, just that the minis do not have the power of the original full size LFE. So no, not any faster or punchier.

Thanks! So quite similar but less output.
Just to be clear I didn't mean that the smaller ones would be quicker and more intense because of their lower inertia, but the opposite direction. I would have thought, that they produce more of a diffuse rumble than pronounced hits. So they are in a different league than the usual body shakers.

hi there, this is my rig;
i made a handbrake from the clutch pedal of g920, i cut the spring inner and shorthen the travel distance by changing the potantiometer position and add blockers ( use rectangular nuts) under the pedal part of the clutch to achieve a realistic handbrake.

Hi guys!

Here's where I come to peace. From the moment I first saw a Playseat back when I was just a kid I always told myself I would have something like that when I had the money and space. A year ago that moment finally came and after quite some searching and reading I decided to go all in instead of starting small and upgrading after some time. I haven't regret it for a second. There are a few things on my list like a second steering wheel combined with a shifter and sometimes I wonder about triples but for the moment she's just perfect for me.

Specs:
JCL F1 Rig "Sacha Fenestraz"
Simracingbay Simucube Large Mige
Fanatec Formula Carbon
Simracingmachines Wheel Base Side Fanatec Conversion Kit
Heusinkveld Pro Pedals (2 set in picture but have the clutch aswell now)
Oculus Rift

I've been hesitant to post anything here since my rig has been under construction all year.
Every time I've thought I was done, I would make a major change of some kind.

But it's done. My wife laughed at me when I told her that last night. She has heard me say that before, but I really can't think of anything else that I want to do to it at this time. It has to remain mobile and I don't want it to take up any more space than it does now. I can't think of one thing left that would be worth doing.

I would love to find out where you got that Bucket seat mount. I'd like a more reclined position like yours but my sim-lab mount doesn't allow nearly as much travel.
Nice setup allround btw ;)
