Hello everybody!

I am a new user, from Italy, and I really appreciate this website, I do play a lot of sim racing (on my own), I have a Thrustmaster TX with Ferrari 599XX Wheel + H gate shifter TH8A + Logitech g920 pedals.

This is my simple introduction!

Respect from Italy!

Hi, I'm JayJay, 35 from Berlin Germany. I always loved sim racing and arcady racing games but never got around to get myself a setup at home. After racing in a mall in an exhibition with curved screen dashboards, vibrating seats and FFB wheels with two friends and three random players, cursing at each other and getting applause from the small audience I was really hyped and bought all the (except a good shifter) equipment finally :) Looking forward to bumping into some of you sooner or later on the tracks...;)

Greetings everyone, first post here. New to sim-racing, but played a lot of racing games (ranging from arcade to arcadish like GT4). Now mainly playing Assetto Corsa with F1 2017 and Dirt Rally as a back-up plan...

Here looking for a good community for simracing who are also organizing events for beginners. This seems like a good place to start.

Hello and welcome to Race Department.
You'll find all our club races are social events, they are meant to be fun and to cater for all skill levels and the AC boys will make you welcome.

Hello from the United States! I am a younger sim racer, who mainly dabbles in oval racing. I came here because I was looking around for rFactor and F1 20XX mods, and decided, hey the more sites to interact on the merrier.

Most of ,my time not spent sim racing, or doing other stuff is spent painting cars, and researching more about NASCAR drivers, teams and tracks. I mainly play Nr2003, since aside from iRacing, there are not very many good oval options, and iRacing not only is a bit costly, but has no offline to speak of, and being a primarily offline racer, that eliminates it from the question (until they roll out their coming AI system, then I might reconsider)

Why do I not race online much? My lack of skill, and fear of ruining others races. And my lack of experience with anything outside of Oval racing.

If there is one thing above all else that I would want in sim racing, is for somebody to create a competent oval sim(e.g. not nascar sim racing) with offline content(unlike ARSX). Heck if iRacing were to make a spinoff title with just stock car content, and a reasonable offline AI system, I would but immediately.

But I digress, despite my huge liking for oval racing, I will watch just about anything with at least 2 wheels and an engine, I'm not picky when it comes to motorsports.

So that is that, I'm happy to be here, and hopefully I will enjoy all that this site has to offer!

Hi and welcome to Race Department.
N2K3 is a cracking game and the GTP mod just made it even better, although I used Nascar Heat for online back then.
I believe our rF2 club is going to try some oval racing soon, so keep an eye out for that, our clubs are there for all skill levels and you will be made welcome.

Hello everyone, I am new to Sim Racing! I got a dfgt and AC, and I've been playing for about 4 days now! If anyone has any advice for me, I'll gladly listen!
Hi and welcome to Race Department, I'm sure that the AC section and community will have plenty of tips and advice for you, we have a search function and helpful members to answer any questions you may have.
