Just a heads-up: the next version will require Custom Shaders Patch (CSP, latest version)! The mod will not work with older CSP versions or in vanilla AC.

We want to bring you the best experience, and vanilla AC just doesn't cut it anymore. There really isn't any sane reason not to use CSP, really.

On the physics side, it now relies on latest 0.1.68's changes to self aligning torque to feel right, so while it *might* launch with older versions if physics are concerned, the FFMULT will be too low. It definitely needs 0.1.60+, I doubt it will work on earlier versions.

Also some other features coming, but everything is still subject to change.

Soon. My work for this version is about done. Perhaps some small tweaks to tires and one little more system addition for a hotfix some time, but I'm pretty satisfied.

I did a fresh install of the current version because the turn-in oversteer is way too much. It's definitely not like an NSX/r in that regard, or any other car unless you've set it up like that.
I haven't changed any of the settings either.

Does anyone else have this issue ?
Obviously I love these cars, so I want to drive them but struggling with it.

Obviously I love these cars, so I want to drive them but struggling with it.

The current uploaded version is overall fine apart from the small issue of hitting the rear bumpstop in cornering, so in many situations it will be too oversteery. Quite ironic because further research suggests a very long effective compression stroke length in the rear.

I've since corrected that, among other things.

If you absolutely need to drive the car now and can't wait for the update, you're free to open the data and add something like 0.050 to the rear PACKER_RANGE. It will probably fix it.
