Yeah alright, it might be my new favorite mod track. Usually mostly do circuits, because "real roads" mods are often crap. This ain't.

This is beyond great. Kunos should throw some money at these guys and just buy it off them, because this is one of the best track mods ever, in any game. If you don't have it, you're badly missing out.

Thanks mate, who knows maybe oneday they might... I reckon they're pretty busy at the moment getting used to ACC and the Unreal Engine.
Would be exciting to see it in the Unreal Engine though :)

Already such a great map! Thank you (and Benny) for already so much time spend on this. Love this map for freeroam, just some relax cruising around and up the mountains :)including the Extra roads. It's epic with using VR (I'm using Oculus Rift) to look up and down the road while driving. You can see how steep roads really are with VR :P

Thanks Donysius, yeah I'd love to try it in VR... I'm sure you get a truer sense of how high some of those mountains really are.
Some of those 6,200ft peaks must look huge.

Thank you for all you efforts and passion, this road is amazing, in VR it is most likely the closest we will be to experience to actually driving there. Arguably the best, most real, AC road available to us. I hope other will take example of what you did and either improve what they already did or come up with more real roads for us to drive on. Thank you for leading the pack.

I love the road track but it s difficult to find a correct one.

This one have wonderful graphics, excelent physics and the IA work correctly.
It s one of the best !

incredible! thanks to you, Ben and everyone else. Is there any other way of helping performance than reducing global AC world detial? some tracks suggest renaming a kn5 to achieve a similar result.

Ben's done such a great job with optimisation & layering that the best way now is with the world detail slider.

This may be a bit redundant if you've watched the video that Phoenix kindly embedded - but here goes anyway.

I'm a circuit racer. I don't do cruises. I don't do free roam. And, I had to look up how to pronounce Touge recently! But, despite all of that I think LA Canyons is one of the most interesting & important tracks for Assetto Corsa.

LA Canyons is big, and it is clever. Expansive doesn't begin to describe it. 150km of diverse roads thread their way through the sort of terrain that's more 'Lord of the Rings' than Hockenheimring. It's stunning. But, it's also full of atmosphere - something that's very hard to achieve.

Well done to Phoenix & Ben - this is a work of art.

The level of detail and the scale of this road is incomparable to anything else on offer to this day. Amazing to drive, it reminds me of the old times playing the original The Need For Speed. Great job!
