Should Ferrari Start Supporting Leclerc Over Vettel?

We might be nearing the end of Vettels career. It sounds dramatic, but hes earned a lot of money, and if leclerc continues to show him up like this all season, what does he do?? He will have proven his level isn't good enough, who would want him and pay his high wages?

Has there been any credible evidence to support that this *wasn't* a driving error by Vettel?

When I watched it on TV, it seemed as if the track dropped away a little bit just where Vettel applied power and spun (this would have taken load off of the outside rear wheel)?. And what about the wind, was that a factor?

That said, off the cuff I can't think of a similar incident involving Hamilton, where Hamilton ended up spinning.

Sure, Vettel's fast when he's ahead and controlling the race, but put him under pressure from behind or in a wheel-to-wheel battle and he has a record of seizing up and losing it.

Leclerc was clearly hired as the number two driver. He failed to protect his number one driver today and therefore failed at his job. If anything, they should have a serious Talk with him to bring him back into line.

Shows the difference between being in the top 2 teams in F1....
LeClerc has gone from knocking on the top 10 to what should of been race winner in a season.... just simply because of the car...

Nope he was hired as a young future champion...... it's Lewis that won't allow a young gun team mate... look at Lando, put him in Botta's car and he'd be in the top 4 easy...

Remember the outrage when Kimi finally took Pole?

I think the only way Charlie could've helped vettel was if he'd driven his car for him.

now it's too early , what can be said is that Leclerc is really a good driver , probably he's going to be next nr 1 in Ferrari .

He was a good driver last season...now he is just in the top tier of 2 teams so he is racing against only 3 other people..... OK 2 of those happen to be multi WDC....
Take away the top 2 teams and F1 was pretty exciting today, for F1 standard anyway..
The DRS is a joke though..

Race dept staff keep up the good work ,

Yes Lando could beat Lewis, but saying Lewis won't allow a young team, is a bit.... well just another unnecessary lewis conversation. Lewis is not the Team Boss its not his final say. Comments like this expose your dislike.
