A message to all Drivers

If you run off track, you have to check to see that its clear before you re enter the track. Do not just keep the gas pinned and pull back on track.

When entering the track from the pits, stay off the racing line until you are up to speed. Do not race on your out lap, let other drivers by. On re-entering the track stay off the racing line until you are up to race speed and do not block any fast approaching car.

Golden Rule

1. If you hit somebody off the track and carry on like nothing happened, you take the risk of being banned for 30 days.
2. Instead, you should always wait for the affected drivers, and that way you can be 100% sure you will not get a ban.

Track limits

1. No more than 2 wheels over the white/yellow line without a lift of the gas please.
   You will be penalized if you break our rules

Note: Please use your full real name in teamspeak & server. Not doing so WILL result in you being kicked from the server if an admin cannot identify you as a premium member.

That's interesting Andreas, thank you! Just downloaded it now (the original d/l doesn't work w Chrome for me, but found another link in the thread) - will check it out tomorrow if time and add if it fits with lap times/competitiveness

I have not tried it yet either but maybe tomorrow I have some time to do so. Will share my thoughts afterwards.

G55 lhd please, John.
I remember that I tried the new KTM on Road America just after our GT4 race there and with default setup and just a few laps I came close to my lap times with the G55. The Kink was easy flat out, I also remember.

Count me in with the G55 RHD, or the XBOW GT4 if that's an option.

I'm going to have to re-do my VR WMR (set between @ 60fps vs 90fps) test again, because my last attempt was null & void after I noticed that my cpu was throttling @ 94°C+. Somehow, my cpu (fan mounting) retention bracket had snapped (body, not the hook)!

p.s. the race isn't listed in the calendar section.

the KTM definetly need to be BoPd, as it its Ride height, Boost pressure and some other stuff were in real life. The mod version is the completely unrestricted and a good bit faster than the other GT4s

If you (or anyone else!) can find info re the BoP I'd appreciate it - my own findings today - after setting a base lap with the G55 (the car I have most exp with), 5 laps driven, 30 ltrs and tyres corrected for temps...

XBow, std setup, 4.5 secs faster
XBow, std setup with 150kg ballast and 25% restrictor 0.5 faster.

From what I understand from the server settings, you can't apply more than 150kg ballast, so any more BoP would need to come from the restrictor.

In an AI race, on the heaviest BoP settings, the Porsche and Maser would match acceleration and top speed and was slightly faster than the G55 - though most people (I guess!) would take a load of wing off the G55 anyway, so might possibly even it out.

Will try again later if time, but I'm thinking 30% restrictor and 150kg ballast might do it - all opinions appreciated!

EDIT: I meant to add, if you want to include it, and it runs away with the race I'm not personally bothered (I'll stick with the G55), at least then we'd have a better idea for future races

Can I be greedy & have both the G55 & XBow for race 1 & 2 respectively?* Maybe swap with another driver?

Its possible to set turbo pressure for the KTM, so fixing that part of the setup would be a possibility too. Maybe we can do a Xbow one make race at some point too, its a great mod and im not sure if it holds its great driving characteristics with all that bop.

When I tried the X-Bow for the first time (without BoP, Kyalami) it was 1sec away from GT3 times, YIKES! So, as Johannes has mentioned, we'll do a seperate event for it. (more info below re this).

We won't be using the X-Bow buddy, tried it on the server today/eve and even with 150kg and 30% restrictor it's nearly 2 secs faster than the Maser and G55 I used. I guess if Aliens were involved they could sort something, but the more BoP that's piled on this, it takes away the fantastic feeling it has without BoP. We'll put something together soon for a race on its own - it really is a gem of a car.

When looking for the next event the other day, I was trying to find a track that favoured the Maser and Porsche a bit more and Kyalami, I hope, fits the bill. With a setup that's comfy for me in the G55, the Maser with no setup was .3 slower, so more to come I'd hope. I am tempted to swap if I can find the time to settle it down a wee bit, it's one of the nicest/responsive cars to drive in AC imo. As for the Porsche... I simply can't drive them
