technically no, but practically yes. You just swap the tyre sidewall materials and edit the tyrecompounds file to make it seem like the compounds are changed but you have to do it for each track separately

you mean the chassis? Yes but the tyres can't be done as they don't have a separate model you can use (and the carmodel file doesn't have stuff to edit that)

I mean all. To play with safetycar but not chasis, the category. We have 3: 2018, classic and safetycar.

Does anyone know if it's possible to mod the team garages? Because I've found the texture files but I cant find the mipmaps location.

They might not have mipmaps, some files are just in the erps but I’ve never tried the team garages

Yes you can. The mipmaps are located mostly inside \F1 2018\environment_package\core_assets and either the object or shared textures folder. I did the garages for the f1 2018 mod for f1 2017, they are moddable but you need to have a 3D model for accuracy of the garage paint and the team sundries placement.

I don't quite know what is going on right now in my mod, I'm trying to use the williams car model in the toro rosso, and I made the texture in photoshop, on the williams carmodel and it appears to be perfectly fine, but when I put it in game, the carmodel does load, but the skin isn't loading properly, I have changed the paints d,c,and s, and put a test file for the decals, but for some reason it seems like another texture is going on top of these, I'm not sure what to do. or if I am doing something wrong, I looked at other people's mods to see if i could figure it out, but I couldn't figure it out.
Any help would be appreciated!

You also need to import the williams damage texture. Try if it fix the issue.

As already said, you also need to change the damage texture and, if you want, the dirt texture. I can't see in the cockpit but I think you need to swap also the steering wheel textures.

How can I remove the Flags from the drivers in Career mode? I want to change the drivers but it looks weird when Leclerc suddenly is German.

did it, tried doing that right after posting and it had ended up working, thanks all, should be posting my mod in a few days after I finish the other stuff on the car model

Go to the erp archiver, the helmets are in the incardriver erp, then find the one you want, then click export, it should give you a .dds file. once you have it you can edit it as you please.

Got one final hiccup on the mod, the car is all made, the car looks pretty good, but the steering wheel is bugged, need some help on how to fix this, I cannot see the HUD.

Go to incardriver.erp and export incardriver.xml
Open it and go down to <scene name="tororosso"> and change
<animset name="animations_driver_in_car/driver_steering_anims/idf/driver_in_car_2018_toro_rosso" /> to
<animset name="animations_driver_in_car/driver_steering_anims/idf/driver_in_car_2018_williams" />
