You want pacenotes for track racing?
No, we were running a tarmac rally mod (cars & tracks) with our league on RF1.
But unfortunately we cannot bring it to RF2 due to lack of pacenote plugin with DX11.
Maybe yours - with some reprogramming for sure - could be a solution.

Sorry for the late answer. So we check and we are not sure whether this is udp or tcp. As an example, Dashmeter Pro works with RF2 through wifi network. So if your soft uses same type of communication, it should be fine.

My soft uses udp data because Codemasters games use udp data and it is easy to capture the stream. I don't think I will be able to help you with RF2 nor have time to do so, guys. Unless you can show me how to capture length of the track, current distance, lap time, etc. And I don't own the game so I can't test anything.

It seems that someone has already started doing a pacenote plugin but abandoned the project due to lack of interest from the public https://forum.studio-397.com/index.php?threads/rally-pacenote-plugin-for-rfactor2.31635/page-2

No problem, will continue to investigate.

Yes we are aware but this plugin does not work with DX11 and was anyway missing lot of features we had with RF1.

A person from our league would like to work and re-code your plugin for RF2 standards.
Would you be ok to share your source code and give access to all parts necessary for this change?
Best

Hi! I can't get DR2 to connect with Dirty. I've tried change the ports on both side and no success. I also have a problem that It's stuck on Processing audio files, please wait on Dirty when I'm using Nicky Christ as codriver. I've gone into windows firewall, made an exception for dirty, I also start it as admin but no luck so far.

Any advise? I'm running Windows 10

I didn't have this problem on my PC but one guy who had has got a solution: "I solved it by changing Windows system Path to include ffmpeg that I had to download".

Also, have you changed UDP to true and extradata to 3?

Hello, I have the same problem.

It's stuck on Processing audio files, please wait.
No other device on UDP.

My settings here:
<udp enabled="true" extradata="3" ip="127.0.0.1" port="20777" delay="1" />
