GSI GT-MAX32 - Gomez Sim Industries announce new wheel

Gomez Sim Racing announced on Twitter yesterday a new wheel, the GSI GT-MAX32, which is available to pre-order now with a delivery for summer 2022.

The wheel retails from $1385 and is compatible with Simucube, VRS, Accuforce, and Fanatec DD bases.

The first round of pre-sales began yesterday (14/02/2022) and will close 15/03/2022.

They are claiming that this is the most advanced wheel they have made to date. It takes everything they have learned and elevates it to a new level of technology including features, construction, and assembly.

It seems the price is ok for a wheel like this. Embedded ledscreen wheels aren't cheap. The version on the right looks better imo, the left one is a bit too much colour.

Still cheaper and easier to get than an RTX30somethingoranother.
Nice to see options though that are compatible on a variety of bases.

Direct drive wheelbase = 350$.
A rim, (YES A RIM) = 1500$.

Still I'm sure there is market for gimmik rims, 100X-its-price-button-boxes, four-digits luxury pedals and buy-it-monthly sims otherwise you wouldn't have seen them around.

Looks nice but useless overpay if you are a VR user. Besides that, if you are a fan of switching rims, built-in LCD screen is not practical - much better to have external display. Other important thing with built-in LCD screens - there is much higher possibility of something breaking down and it WILL happen at some point. Speaking from experience (VR user now so whatever).

Nice wheel for the price (provided Fanatec mount does not add to price) Also, all buttons, switches, rotary and screen can be supported in game with exisiting available software - Fanatec/JoyToKey etc)

P.S. My bad just visited site required to by QR mounts from appropriate vendor - Dual clutch +$187 - CF paddles +$25 vs Std Aluminum - Podium Hub +$199 = $1821 plus tax & shipping

I think I am still waiting for "Perfect" GT wheel ;)

oh, believe me, it does not include the $200 podium hub that we will need ;)

whenever i look at wheels i just add another 200 usd

As a Fanatec wheelbase owner...even though I am not a Bentley (luxury boat) fan - I would rather buy the announced Bentley wheel. The display content stays horizontal even if you turn the wheel. Absolutely brilliant. I am thinking it will be around the same price point as the Fanatec BMW M4 GT3 wheel. Sure, you have to buy the car as well to make full use of it. As a factory driver...yeah, I am hearing you...sorry, somebody just woke me up.... :)

That's hardly a DD, it's more like a Fanatec CSL Elite base but without the belt :roflmao:
But honestly, I know the CSL DD is nice but it's also a commercial joke without that 180 euro power brick. Then comparing this low power DD to a more expensive rim with internal led screen, is taking the joke too seriously and try to convince the world you own "a DD".

That's the worst purchase that I ever did... a "Thrustmaster Ferrari wheel". I still remember the plastic cracking sounds after using it for less then 1 minute. The sound of it, it sounded and felt cheaper then a aliexpress wheel.
