This is an amazing track Fat-Alfie!
Thank you so much for your work on finishing and releasing this!
It is one of the absolute must have tracks to run vintage cars on!
Your Feldberging and Thomson Road tracks are works of art. Have never had a more enjoyable afternoon of sim racing than just throwing the Porche Spyder around those two circuits today. Absolutely fantastic work. Thanks.
10/10 atmosphere - wow!
8/10 driving - I think it could do with more bumps; these are public roads, and while Germany is blessed with rather better maintained roads than the rest of us in Europe, this is also 1950. Other than that, good.
Thanks for the review, Rich, and that's a fair criticism. I find it quite tricky to get the right balance with road bumps. I am aware that a road that is too bumpy can completely spoil a track for some people, whereas if you go too small people could be a little disappointed but it will still be drivable, so I erred on the side of caution. I did try and add a few dozen dips and bumps by hand but clearly not big enough. If you're happy to test, I would be happy to send you a modified physics mesh.
I am absolutely blown away by this track. AWESOME! And this word doesn´t even start to describe how good it is. Really feels like a great german b-road. Perfectly well done. Thank you, thank you, thank you! My favourite simracing-track of all time :)
As a devotee of vintage racing, I am in awe of this circuit. You, sir, are a master of the art of track building. and I thank you for making this and your other wonderful track, Fonteny. They are both masterpieces.
Thanks very much, and I'm glad you like them. There are two more tracks by me here on RD, too - Deutchlandring and Thomson Road, both are vintage circuits.
