**Please note this requires that you have the C8 mod created by Nicolas Devoto that has been making it's rounds around the internet. It still uses the C7 sound and fonts so I can't remember if that was in a DLC, but you'll also need the kunos C7 one way or another. I've seen physics updates before so I don't think this is taboo since everything I've included is original but this is the first time I've posted a mod like this, so go easy on me guys!
My main goal in this was to make the car as close to an honest representation of the real car as possible. I hope I achieved that, and more importantly I hope people enjoy driving this!
Here is a summary of everything that has been updated:
Updated almost all of the data to better match the performance of the real car, including suspension, drivetrain, engine power, brakes, lights, aero, tyres, and interior lights
Re-did all to match factory colors and display color schemes as best as possible (and one "fun" one), including adding AO to rims and adding the "machined face" trident rims
Note: I tried adding AO to the skins but it didn't look right, and the car looked good imo as is but I also don't have photoshop so I was probably doing something wrong.
Added navigation to the auxiliary screen thanks to using Nicolas Brunet's "Tutorial for Active GPS" on Assetto Corsa Mod Central Facebook group
Added LODs thanks to LOD Generator by Kavoriken and leBluem: https://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/lod-generator.24394/
I also kept a detailed log of everything I worked on, which is included in the "changelog.txt" in the download.
Wishlist:
Add wheelblur (I don't have access to change the model, and there wasn't a surface on the model in CM to add a wheelblur skin to)
Add better AO to the car (hopefully somebody else who's better decides to do this someday!)
Add HUD and other interior lights and goodies (I don't have access to add things to the model other than what's in CM so it'd be a nice addition one day)
Special thanks to:
Nicolas Devoto for making the original mod
João Diogo Garrido for providing feedback on the car's handling and performance
NIcolas Brunet for his "Tutorial for Active GPS"
Kavoriken and leBluem for making an easy-to-use LOD generator
Cheers!
