The "What Are You Working On?" Thread

Free time has been basically non-existent the last several months for a variety of reasons, but I've been able to carve out a handful of hours here and there to do some more work on this "little" design project...

Still very new to this whole poly modeling thing so it's slow going. A few exterior design details to work out still (and the entire interior) but it's getting there. It's supposed to be a mid engine sports car; not a super car. Ideally somewhere in the ~250hp range. Small, light, nimble.

I should probably get back on the Chinook liveries for @Stereo :whistling:

Looking great! What are your plans for physics? :)

Thanks!

Is that an offer? ;)

I know nothing about physics in AC, so I'd have to do a lot of learning. General layout is RWD, 250ish HP, Flat 8 (just 'cause). No fancy electronics mcgubbins. Just a small, light sports car for some fun in the twisties.

There will also be a GT4 spec car, and a faster race spec which is what I'd like to see GT turn (back?) into. Looks like a GT300 car and around the same pace, no TC or ABS, mechanical sequential shifter.

The GT300ish car is was the reason I went down this design hole in the first place. I figured to make a convincing race spec I needed to start with the street car, and then make the modifications to it. That way the race mods look logical. Made sense in my brain, anyways :)

Well, I'm useless at race cars but i enjoy doing fantasy road cars...

Ooooo.... I'll have to send a PM your way :)

@Ryno917 I loved your work on the prototypes for Project CARS - I was secretly hoping Reiza will ask you to do an RWD Group C for AMS2 - so I look forward to seeing what you come up with here, especially the race trim version(s).

Thank you! I have some other RWD stuff in the works as well (including a Group C car ;) ); though my limited free time and slow going with poly modeling means don't expect anything in the near future

Couple non-C1 tasks last week so I didn't work on it, but I think I'm mostly back onto this.

Still going for finished over perfect. Pondering which skins to include since it has the two-tone option for each exterior and then 1-4 interior colour options.
