Good evening, Is there anyone using Oculus Rift that can suggest or post graphic settings so that VR can run smoothly. Thank you.
I would like to help you out on this, but I don´t have a triple screen setup. And I can´t even drive ACC with the wheel on my single screen with my current setup. So I am totally dependent on VR. Sorry.I'm interested how this will look on screens, triple screens. Ok don't have that glorious 3080 but also not driving that many pixels (5760x1080) so should be interesting. My poor 7700k gets hit really hard at Nurburgring, well hit hard by ACC in general, I saw all 8 threads pretty well pinned to 100% the other night, haha
I tried both your files and while they look as good as the one i posted earlier it doesn't perform as well, i am staying on my current one.I would like to help you out on this, but I don´t have a triple screen setup. And yea, ACC is going hard on CPU and GPU.
What does r.OneFrameThreadLag do? I have been reading it increases input laganother go at the engine.ini...
!!! Looks really nice !!!

Thanks mate! Going to try it out. But... what about those who only have a poor 3070? Will it run?For all of you guys and girls who are fortunate enough to call a RTX 3080 their own and who are happy with (only) 72 fps.
Here is my engine.ini I worked on for hours.
The game runs with everything on EPIC except Shadows (High), Material (High) and Foliage LOD (High).

Tested with Nürburgring with 30 Cars in the night and it runs constantly (except the start) with 72fps.
Another tip for those with a CPU that has more than 8 (real) Cores ... Disable HT! There are a lot of fps to gain!
Anyway...
for those trying to achieve 90fps, I think it gives a good starting point with good/better AA.
How do u pick a diff sharpening option I can’t work that bit out?Hi all,
I thought I'd share my settings for the following setup:
RX 6900 XT
Ryzen 7 5800x - anything similar or better will work
16 GB RAM (3600 MHz)
HP Reverb G2
Steam:
Render Resolution: 50 %
Motion Smoothing: Disabled
90 Hz all the way
I am using the engine.ini from @Andrew_WOT , since that gives me the best results in combination with the settings attached. There are 2 different json files, one for racing and one for hot lapping.
Next to that I am using the ReShade preset from @Retrolux which can be found here: https://www.assettocorsa.net/forum/...harpness-without-perfomance-drop.68964/page-8
I use the AMD CAS sharpening option, as it looks better and performs about the same. Either option might work for you though, just try them out and be sure to follow the instructions in the readme file.
It's required to use the ReShade as all sharpening is turned off.
U need engineer degree to get it running after hours of engine tweaks and reshade tuning. kunos could easily implement some of our findings but nah man they say it’s all placebo and they know better. I hate AA productions like this but who cares ? Well I’ll go search for better settings until 4080 and ryzen 7000 xDReading through this thread I've come to the conclusion that the best VR settings for ACC is to unplug the HMD and just consider the VR options that present themselves on launching from steam are actually a bug and shouldn't be there.
I am not at my pc today, but the read me file explains it pretty well afaik. How do u pick a diff sharpening option I can’t work that bit out?
another go at the engine.ini...

Hi! I got my new g2 reverbs yesterday. I am new to VR and since yesterday I have been watching a lot of videos and reading a lot.For all of you guys and girls who are fortunate enough to call a RTX 3080 their own and who are happy with (only) 72 fps.

Actually... it used to be that way. But ReshadeVR changed everything. ACC on my system (a beefy one, I admit) + Index now kicks ass of every other VRsims in terms of visuals/performance. Eyecandy rockstable 80Hz everywhere. Just to compare other stuff I run:Reading through this thread I've come to the conclusion that the best VR settings for ACC is to unplug the HMD and just consider the VR options that present themselves on launching from steam are actually a bug and shouldn't be there.
You missed the extra 3+ grand for the wheelbase, steering wheel, pedals and other stuff...Tldr about 4 grand on a pc another 1k on a vr headset to run a 30 euro game.
- DR2: I used to consider this being the best VR sim I run. Just the overexposure issue and transparency meshes puts it below.
