I'm interested how this will look on screens, triple screens. Ok don't have that glorious 3080 but also not driving that many pixels (5760x1080) so should be interesting. My poor 7700k gets hit really hard at Nurburgring, well hit hard by ACC in general, I saw all 8 threads pretty well pinned to 100% the other night, haha

yet another go on the engine.ini.
this time I also tried screenspacepercentage 50% and pixeldensity 160% with r.Upscale.Quality=5, but it just doesn´t feel as crisp as with 100% and 110% pixeldensity.

I would like to help you out on this, but I don´t have a triple screen setup. And I can´t even drive ACC with the wheel on my single screen with my current setup. So I am totally dependent on VR. Sorry.
And yea, ACC is going hard on CPU and GPU.

I tried both your files and while they look as good as the one i posted earlier it doesn't perform as well, i am staying on my current one.
My AC@ file is getting crowded :roflmao:

another go at the engine.ini...
!!! Looks really nice !!!
everything on EPIC except for Shadows (High)

For all of you guys and girls who are fortunate enough to call a RTX 3080 their own and who are happy with (only) 72 fps.
Here is my engine.ini I worked on for hours.

Tested with Nürburgring with 30 Cars in the night and it runs constantly (except the start) with 72fps.

Another tip for those with a CPU that has more than 8 (real) Cores ... Disable HT! There are a lot of fps to gain!

Anyway...
for those trying to achieve 90fps, I think it gives a good starting point with good/better AA.
Thanks mate! Going to try it out. But... what about those who only have a poor 3070? Will it run?

Hi all,

I thought I'd share my settings for the following setup:
RX 6900 XT
Ryzen 7 5800x - anything similar or better will work
16 GB RAM (3600 MHz)
HP Reverb G2

Steam:
Render Resolution: 50 %
Motion Smoothing: Disabled
90 Hz all the way

I am using the engine.ini from @Andrew_WOT , since that gives me the best results in combination with the settings attached. There are 2 different json files, one for racing and one for hot lapping.
Next to that I am using the ReShade preset from @Retrolux which can be found here: https://www.assettocorsa.net/forum/...harpness-without-perfomance-drop.68964/page-8
I use the AMD CAS sharpening option, as it looks better and performs about the same. Either option might work for you though, just try them out and be sure to follow the instructions in the readme file.
It's required to use the ReShade as all sharpening is turned off.

How do u pick a diff sharpening option I can’t work that bit out?

Reading through this thread I've come to the conclusion that the best VR settings for ACC is to unplug the HMD and just consider the VR options that present themselves on launching from steam are actually a bug and shouldn't be there.
U need engineer degree to get it running after hours of engine tweaks and reshade tuning. kunos could easily implement some of our findings but nah man they say it’s all placebo and they know better. I hate AA productions like this but who cares ? Well I’ll go search for better settings until 4080 and ryzen 7000 xD

Hi! I got my new g2 reverbs yesterday. I am new to VR and since yesterday I have been watching a lot of videos and reading a lot.

Could I use this with my equipment?

GeForce TUF RTX 3080 GAMING 10GB GDDR6X
AMD Ryzen 7 3800XT 4.7Ghz 8-Core
32Gb (2x16Gb) Corsair Vengeance LPX 3000 Mhz CL15

Should I make any changes to SteamVr?

Thanks for the help

Actually... it used to be that way. But ReshadeVR changed everything. ACC on my system (a beefy one, I admit) + Index now kicks ass of every other VRsims in terms of visuals/performance. Eyecandy rockstable 80Hz everywhere. Just to compare other stuff I run:
- rF2: OK that is nice. Engine is showing its age, though.
- DR2: I used to consider this being the best VR sim I run. Just the overexposure issue and transparency meshes puts it below.
- AMS2: this could be so, so amazing. Unfortunately, isn't. The incredibly annoying shadow shimmering, especially on heavy-foliage tracks (scheisseschleife, for example) causes me eyemigraines.
- AC: well, OK.
------
I spent months tweaking my system, the engine.ini, whatever, just to be clear. But now I have no need to touch anything, found the Grail finally.

Hi everyone,

First, thanks to all of you for this thread.

I've been reading through this thread and have tried Andrew_WOT's ini file, I was maxing out at 26 fps.

I'm new to VR and sim racing and am quite overwhelmed, can anyone provide some guidance?

Here are my specs:

AMD Ryzen 5 5600x
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060
16 GB 3200Mhz DDR4 RAM
Oculus Quest2 using Oculus Link

Looking at my Oculus app, the settings are:

72 Hz (Recommended)
Resolution automatic (3616x1840)

I've seen some people mention Steam VR settings, supersampling, etc. but I don't have any of those options. My Steam VR settings in the video tab are:

Refresh Rate (synced to my Oculus settings I believe)
Render Resolution (1824x1840) (100%)
Advanced Super Sample Filtering Off/On
Overlay Render Quality

Other users with similar specs seem to be getting double or triple the framerate I can.

On lowest settings, sitting still on Spa at night in a Huracan, I get 34 FPS.

Any guidance or suggestions would be appreciated, I race in real life (rally) and can't do that right now due to some things I'm dealing with. I'd like to get into ACC in the meantime but I can't seem to figure it out.

Cheers and thanks in advance
