Hi guys ! (sorry for my english, I'm french:laugh:)

For some people who have the same config like me and wanted to have rock stable 90fps / 45 with ASW for a good start in VR mode (after you can upgrade some options for more antialiasing and less blurry)

Base: 16GB of RAM with a Intel Core i7-4770 (stock) and GTX 1070 (stock) with WMR (windows mixed reality) headset Lenovo Explorer

Nvidia Control Panel :
Pre-frame rendered in VR: 1
Power plan: Power

SteamVR :
Video > set resolution to 100%
Developper: Turn off "enable supersampling filter"

In-game settings :
Screen resolution: 1080p
Resolution scale: 170%
View distance: Mid
Shadows: Mid
Antialiasing: High
Antialiasing Type: Temporal
Effects: High
Post-processing: Mid
Folage: Low
Texture: High
Mir. view distance: 40 meters
Mir. quality: Low
Mir. resolution: Mid
Opp. visibility: 15
VR Pixel Density: 170%

Materials Quality: High
Temporal upscalling: Disabled
Bloom quality: Off
Volumetric Fog: Disabled
Folage LOD quality: Mid
HLOD: Enabled
Advanced sharpen filter: Disabled

Motion blur: Off
Saturation: 100
White balance: Neutral
Sharpness: 80%
Frame limit: Off
Camera dirt effect: 3.0
Light absorbtion: Low
Image contrast: 0.50
Exposure Gain: 0.40
Lock to horizon: 100%

File: Engine.ini located in User folder AppData\Local\AC2\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor
Put this at the end of file :

Full clean install of 1.0.
Full clean install of latest Nvidia driver....

Still looks blurry and not as good as 0.72.

Interestingly (after a fresh install) the ingame Antialiasing setting now makes a visible difference as you change it. But even on epic its not as good as it was.

(Strangely.. re scaling the hud in game gained me 10/15FPS .)

(Strangely 2 ... After a clean install I now have much more feel through the wheel with the same settings)

Hi,

at the moment i`m looking for the strange behaviour of jitters while moving your head around. Until now i did not find any solution or something that might go into that direction.

But i found another strange thing: Running out of video memory!! WTF? So, i searched the internet and i found the solution: Increase the page file sys (virtual memory) to the same amount of RAM as your video card has. This seems to be a problem within the UE4 engine. Kunos did not seem to write a good code with using VRam. Maybe this problem will be solved with an update. Mainly i deactivated the page file sys, because i use a SSD for ACC and Windows 10. But since i got this message of running out of video memory, i set my page file sys memory to 8000MB as my 1070ti. And, voila, everything is running fine now.

I have experienced the same problem, I'm a WMR user with a Lenovo Explorer and it's seems this jitters when up/down for me appear when I updated the last nVidia driver, this issue is solved when I press "Pause" button on the WMR portal, I don't know why but at this moment no problem (I'm dig in it)

sorry for my english mate :(

VR was fine but I dared to try your settings with my Rift. I had very bad stuttering using your steam ss settings. By turning off super sampling filter in steam vr and setting ss to 100% in steam with 170% ingame it wasnt playable. So I got back to ss 100% ingame and auto in steam with super sampling filter active and its smooth again. Maybe this could help someone. Other ingame settings where quite similiar, but I kept yours.

Haven't done your changes to engine.ini so this is my file atm:
