thanks
yes!! not much done recently at this 2 one, i want to make this update for Zandvoort and then finish Eifel South circuit and a couple of small projects before take care of Spa or Monaco
almost 80% of armco is on place, still many tweaks to make it looks natural, still to add 3d grass at certain areas and replace crowds at some of the dunes.
enjoy it
Hey Sergio I forgot to mention a while back that we ran Zandvoort in the league and one thing I noticed while on track was the very low poly hills. Lots and lots of sharp angles caught my eye even while trying to stay alive in the 312/67.
Also the permanent track sand sort of ruined the race in a way. It turned one of the only places to setup a pass into a single lane turn. In real life after a few laps the sand would be long gone unless there was an incident to bring it back on track. From an artistic standpoint I can see why you did it. But from a reality standpoint I feel it is unrealistic and hurts the quality of racing. This of course is just all my opinion. I respect your decision to keep it if you do, I'm just giving you some insight from our race there this past season. If you keep it I'll just make sure I change the surface.ini before we put the season track pack out.
thanks Lilski for feedback.
well one of my goals for this track and upcoming is to create more natural landscape, i have been playing others games, watch a lot of tutorial vids and i think next track are going to raise the bar a little bit up about this i keep raising my bar since 2004 (please dont look at my first GPL track released ).
About the sand effect, yes, you are right about this, it was done from a "art" point of view, but as you mentioned this dust should go after a few laps. Maybe a surface.ini with not dust could be a good option, i am going to take note for sure, like most of stuff at some tracks some people love it others dont.
thanks again for feedback, always welcome
after watch some vids of 1971 and 1973 Dutch GP and take a look at track sorroundings looks like 1971 was pretty much the same as 1967 or so, with some armco at certain areas, but most of track was still without armco, for 1973 they put armco almost all way around except at exit of Panoramabotch area and move pits and tower 3/4 meters to right, so to resume the 70's Zandvoort are going to be more a 1973 version of track.
thats all by now
some of work done :
for 1965 : new texture for pit building, that fit with the year, some small changes to tower to fit the year too. still to do advertising for pits.
for 1967 : some tweaks for pit building texture, now curbs had blue/white stripe paint, still to do, add a small runoff tarmac at exit of second hairpin.
for 65 and 67 : smooth some sharp edges at dunes, now track had moving flags, still to do, new groove (thanks lilski) and new ai.
for 1973 : all armco at correct place. still to do : alot of stuff already
thanks robbert for support
i hope you enjoy the wip screenshots .
Please post a note here when it,s online as I sometimes don`t get update messages from Sellfy.
Missed out on the Formula Junior update for a couple of weeks before I noticed it was updated.
Uhm... I need some help. Where exactly in this Sellfy thingy should I be able to find the link for the update? I created an account using my purchasing e-mail, as instructed, but there's doesn't seem to be any link to be found anywhere.
Also, the Sellfy says the account is 14-day trial one. What's going to happen when this period ends - how am I going to get future updates for this product?
