I'm still waiting for a sim that features classic touring car racing like the Volvo240 Turbo, BMW 635CSI, Nissan Skyline, Sierra RS500, Holden Commodore, Alfa75 Turbo...R3E has a couple of those cars, but it's R3E ;-)

Come on Rfactor only two car left of this golden era of GT racing. Please dont make the error from iracing and dont finish this class. 6 Cars are not to much. And i love the ford. Yes the new car are coming the new Porsche is not like this and the Corvette is crap. 2018 and 2019 was all i wont. After this you can worke on more Gt3 Gt4 TCR or DPIs and Daytona ;).

Unfortunately it’s the GT era. Everywhere you look, doesn’t matter which sim, you’ll see masses of GT(E, 3, 4) cars. This content is probably well done but I’ll pass this one. Too much GTs everywhere.

It would be ridiculous to have to pay for this car if you already own the Vantage GT3. Even in the real world, both cars are convertible into each other, teams only have to buy one chassis.

That makes sense, but do you think the group/person responsible for selling the license of this car to use in games accept this argument? :D I mean if you make a multiplatform sim, you pay the license for each one (so 3x if u want PC, XBox and PS) so it won't surprise me if the GT3 and GTE licenses are sold separated
Yeah in real life the car can be converted but the kit to do that costs $500,000 and even includes a different engine ;)

I do not have RF2. I clicked on this topic because I am easily distracted by shiny things and liked the pic in the heading. I am struck though, in reading through these comments and other RF2 threads, that people want the game to be so many things. There are similar comments on PC2 and AC threads. Even in ACC where you get the cars, liveries and tracks specific to one series, people are still asking for different content. True, it is a bummer that 397 isn't producing some random historically significant car that checks the box at the top of your list. But hey, the AMR is wonderful, current, and relatively otherwise unavailable content. I you live in RF2, rejoice!
