I know we are all excited for this release. What I don't know is how many people intend to a) play it on the xbox one and b) would like to join some sort of a formal league here at Race Department.

There are so many possibilities, I've had to calm myself down from getting lost in them. However, my main passion, IndyCar, will probably not be able to be run until the DLC with the ovals comes to the Xbox One.

That said, what sort of series would you like to see? Personally, ones that come to mind are Tudor United Sports Car Series, WEC, British Touring Car, and DTM. One of these could fill the gap for me until IndyCar is possible, but others may have better ideas.

Please indicate below if you are interested and what sort of times you are available and which series' you prefer. We could follow the actual schedule of many a series, due to the timing of the release. Personally, if they get the ovals out before IndyCar starts, I'll probably turn my focus there, but nothing would prevent running another alongside.

The anticipation is killing me!

McNasty and I had a pretty good practice last night, learned a lot I think. Anybody else have target times in the wet. Judging from our session last night there can be quite a disparity even with the same setup. Some people are really good in the rain. I don't know where I rank on that, but I was trying all kinds of things last night. The BMW's run around 2:10 in the wet.

I will get some laps in tomos eve, got a karting race tomos, and am on a 26.5 hr shift.

I'll be knackered, but will try an get a few decent laps in.

This could be a lot of fun in the rain, shame I am missing out on it. It's a month until I get back behind the wheel in this series  That'll be around six weeks between races for me.. err, actually no, make that over two months seeing as I didn't even cross the start line for the last race :O_o:.

Think it's time for me to start looking at the career mode once i'm back and get some decent time in at this game.

Out of interest, how many hours do you guys reckon you get per week in this game? I think I am right in believing you can check how long people have spent on the game through the game interface somewhere but I seem to remember that being a bit screwed up. Just intested to see how much time different people get.

If I'm off work, then maybe 2/3 hrs Max, but usually about 1.5 / 2 hrs. I use the pad as well, can't afford a steering wheel as all my spare cash goes towards kart racing.

I don't know the exact number Peter, until I get home, but last time I looked I had logged over 1300 miles in the BMW, and driven 1100 miles in the UK. Don't know what that equates to hours, but I usually run at least one if not two practice races before each League race, so I know what to expect with tire wear and final fuel disposition. Until Patch 3.0 you have to have enough to make that Victory Lap, or you get DQ'd
