Plus,
- increased resistance to damages to prevent AI to pit in for small aero damages
- increased driver seat position range (use LEFT or RIGHT MOUSE BUTTON then drag mouse to adjust view)
- removed bump maps from Morgan/ViperCC/350Z cockpits because of cartoon/plastic effect
- removed spa invisible wall in pits
- updated Enna tyres stack with moving ones
- updated 996CUP #123/124 ugly safety net with nicer one from ViperCC
- updated 996 RS with 3 styles : Motec+H gearbox / Motec+Seq gearbox / Stack+H gearbox
- updated all MoTeC/Pi/Stack fonts, display and cube maps, added red zone to Stack and added rev limit to MoTeC
- added 996 GT3 R versions
- added missing brakes/tyres temperatures motec line : now available in ALL cars (cycles show lap time, oil/water/tyres/brakes temperatures)
- added specific Ferrari/Porsche brakes
- added missing #109 Porsche GT3 CUP from 24h Spa 2003 event
- added laptimer to all cars with flags/pit icons
- added missing safety net in #108 C5R cockpit
- added wipers and dirt/rain effects on side windows
- fixed many black polygons on some cars
and many more (as CocaCola I will not give my detailed recipe because of people copying my work but you must know that there are more than 300 patches) during 7 long years of work on this project...

Some of you do prefer stock UI so I have reworked the ugly start button and fixed memory leak as I did in DucFreak UI and added few tweaks in garage page, will be available next week in 15.3.1 update :)

Next update 15.4 will include wiper animation for all PnG3 cars, I have updated all dirtscreens to see effects on side windows too :)
I have also updated my SETUP with many more options like 2k/4k/stock skies or all different HUDs I have made in 10 languages. As I needed the "B" key for the 14 huds (0-9-A-D), I have set the reverse key as "R" in next update.

While making new rainscreens and dirtscreens I noticed few glitches that I have fixed :
- missing external wiper on one escort
- fixed glass deflector on one gt40
- replaced fix dirtscreen in boss302 by dynamic one : it is clear now at start

Will be released in next GTR2 HQ MODS COLLECTION next week-end :)

I just found a weird thing.

fresh gtr2 installation, install duckfreack
(I did NOT install the 10 ANN. only the ui duck taken from the 10ann)

set realism without spin recovery (the system that "straightens your car" if your car is heading off-track at the very edge of the track.
go to the track, do that, put the car in position to be "straightened". and the system is active (when in the main menu you had deactivated it)
... apparently the main duck menu and the track menu are not "synchronized". adjustments made.

I don't know how many more there will be like this.
 
mate, you give a lot of your precious time to this mod - game.
I would already be seriously thinking if it is worth continuing to strive to polish and polish
(an excellent game, no doubt) but the life time is only one.

I spend with f1c, I left it bright only the original improved, free of bugs ... all by borrowing mods (without permission) ... I formed the patch that improves the critical bugs of the game + visual and aesthetic improvements, real skins and more. only for f1c default game.
I could not get more shine.
I'm still seeing details, ..... but I made a pact:
I finished all the "improvement package plan" and recorded it on a DVD ... then I deleted EVERYTHING from my hard drive ("development" tools, mods ... etc) so I swore not to continue developing more and more.

now I have an original f1c installable dvd, + the improvements (copy,
paste and play) and nothing else. zero worries.
I only use that DVD for my own use. there is nothing on my hard drive. (I made 2 copies)
...... I still see details, little ones, :sneaky:nothing annoying.
But I made a pact, I just use my DVD no more development.

"... the more details you solve, the more details you will see ..."

I try to avoid the f1c forums lately, lest I be tempted to continue experimenting.

I am a perfectionist so as long as I can improve some parts bit by bit I do it. Moreover with recent CrewChief (only 8 months) we have new features so new things to add.

My friend @Butch has given me permission to convert his wonderful 300sl gullwing from GTL to PnG3 : still lot of work with rainscreen/wipers but it will be available soon :)
You will need both GTR2 HQ Anniversary Patch (wipers assets) and PnG3 mod to make it work.

PS: you need GTR2 HQ ANN. PATCH + Power&Glory mod to make it work.

And here is preview of my next reworked wiper animation : much more raindrops, wiper are more defined and animation is smoother. It was huge work as I set 10 layers now per image instead of 5 layers in previous version, and upscaled to 2048x1024 instead of 1024x1024.

what i meant is i just extracted the duckfreak ui by itself. install it and then test it.
That happens, the race menu does not "sync" settings of the options menu of the main game menu.

by the way ... what do I need (complete) for the duckfreak ui to work by itself?

I have updated the garage menu today but I don't want to re-upload twice 500mb for a tiny 1kb file so I upload it here :)
As you can see on screenshots, there are 2 versions, either for GTR2 or PnG3. This small update adds DISC THICKNESS setting on both FRONT/REAR in garage setup.

Dunno if this is related to this patch but I have the following problem: I reinstalled the game fresh, updated and then installed this patch then added just three mods so far. When I wanna play my car leaves the pits automatically and I crash into the pitwall - I cannot figure it out how to fix this - also it makes me wonder because the option is turned OFF in the game settings. I would be very thankful for help. Never had this issue before. :-O
 
I have disabled autopit in hq anniv. Patch so this is surely one of the mod you have installed afterward which re-enabled it. There are plenty of unfinished mods with no support sadly on internet.

Try to do it dirty, delete your profile folder in userdata, re-install hq patch part1+part2 over your broken gtr2 install, then apply hotfix7, run gtr2_setup.cmd : select my PLAYER PLR PROFILE with shovas ffb (you can rename it with your own name later) and restore original files to play ONLINE (your base game files will return to stock), exit setup and run gtr2. Bug should not be there anymore at least with default cars and tracks, gtr2 hq anniversary doesn't modify the extra tracks/cars you can install afterward : I mean, if you install a buggy mod then it will still be a buggy mod, so just throw it to bin to never re-install it :D
 
I have spent a full week to rework original UI : fixing clear lines around window was the longest work, now border frame is black.
Also added few small updates, this Prime UI will be available in hq anniversary patch 15.6.0 next week :)

I repeat that because too many people don't read install.txt within archive and don't download part2 :D

BECAUSE I AM FED UP TO READ NOOBS POSTS ON OTHER FORUMS WHICH SAY THAT HQ PATCH DOESN'T WORK WITH CREWCHIEF : IF I DOWNLOAD A MOD SOMEWHERE WHICH IS TAGGED PART 1 THEN I SEARCH AT LEAST TO DOWNLOAD PART 2... there is a minimum of logic :confused: :O_o::cautious::alien::whistling:

I LET GTR2.EXE NOCD BY DEFAULT BECAUSE THIS IS THE CASE IN POWER&GLORY MOD TOO AND LESS CONFUSING. IF YOU WANT TO RUN CREWCHIEF AFTER HQ PATCH OR POWER&GLORY INSTALL THEN YOU MUST EITHER USE MUCHO CREWCHIEF FOR NOCD (but unofficial so some CC features will not work) OR INSTALL GTR2 DIGITAL EXE WITH GTR2_SETUP.CMD to make official CrewChief work with all features.
