Game looks promising (demo), I sadly have an issue with my HE pro throttle pedal where I only get a super small amount of throttle input.. Been looking on the forums but none has reported such problem, does any one here have the same issue? My brake seems to be working alright...

Both pedals work in every other racing game..

Same issue here, in FM7 I could overcome this by setting throttle sensitivity to around 32 in game but this doesn't appear to work in FH4.

Really enjoying the game so far, it's fun and a welcome change from what I usually do on the PC which is games like AC, ACC, R3E and RF2 ect.

I don't care about the whole "It's not a sim" snobbery, I play games for enjoyment, not how close to reality they are!

If it's not fun, there's no point!

The game is fine and spectacular (played the demo), but I will not buy FH4 because I already played FH, FH2 and FH3 and it is basically the same game. Kind of bored with the formula despite the insane production values of FH4. Also not too keen on the tone and associated fluff (outfits anyone ?)

i personally am not interested in this, there's 3 main reasons ive played games over the years

a good story
to replicate real life realistically
a competitive aspect to it

this doesn't tick any of these boxes for me

Not sure I'll buy it. At one hand I'd love to pretend a brit driving some 80s Escort around the Scottish roads, just for that sense of journey. But I know those cars and I know the likes of roads like these: it must be constant thrill, bumpiness, the whole car trying to swerve around after hitting some bumps during long turn combined with undulations; watching for some parts occasionally being broken, or hoses being blown, and your coolant splashing all over the road. This is fun for me... None of which is included in this sterilized gameplay. Looks fantastic though. Best looking driving game currently, IMO.

The graphics makes you wonder.. how will actual sims, with good handling look in a few years. Open world Test Drive Unlimited style game, with these graphics, but AC physics...

Sad thing, it was already at arms reach... but these phenomenal, smoothly optimized graphics are wasted by putting them in a stupid game with worthless handling

And gamepads... what's the point of driving with gamepad. Boring without exception

I'm playing! As for me, it's a great race, it's a pity there's only Mitsubishi. There is a lot of dirt and on it the car really behaves worse. The roads have already become, but the cars are now managed better. In general, the game is gorgeous as always.

Definitely not to be played with a wheel: laggy, weird FFB, wholly unnatural. I am playing on the Xbox X and I've tried all sorts of configurations, including those that work well with Forza 7. Graphics are good but glitchy (at some point I was floating above ground without a car and had to reset the whole thing). Seasons change too fast and, depending on the challenge, you are back at the previous season, which kills immersion. I have three houses by now but so far I've not been able to figure out what is their purpose. It seems the game was released too soon; perhaps the issues will be sorted out down the road. I don't like it so far and I think FH2 - which I got for free from Xbox Live - is much better.

Only Mitsubishi? Which cracked version did you play??

It's a great game, had no problems on either pc or xbox so far

One thing I know people will say is trivial but I think they should have added front numberplayes
yeah i read that, i checked and don't think i have any of these. Besides i didn't even know what was these names until yesterday!
Either way, they don't deserve 99€ for a game that doesn't work, and that's not able to give a single error message to why it's crashing, it's 2018 FFS ! Microsoft attempt at being like Apple is working well so far...

im running it on pc with the nvidia geforce experience overlay and ive had 0 problems

Well I tried the demo with a T150, first impression was going head on into traffic thinking what the hell are these crazy people doing?
Put it in the ditch while realizing I'm the American idiot driving in Britian.

All in, I could have some fun here. I don't know if it would result in $60 of fun, but yes it's entertaining. I don't like the kid friendly festival stuff but I realize that's the target audience. Maybe I'll pick it up, buy a garage and cruise a 70 Charger around the countryside.

I played the demo with an xbox controller, I just don't see the appeal. The races are meaningless, car performance is based on maintaining the players ego. I could see it would be a great waste of time, but I avoid games like that these days. I got bored instantly.

Same issue, I had that in other Forza games too, that was fixed with EmuWheel but it doesn't work with FH4.

Thank you for your reply Sir!

At least I now know that the problem is not on my end..

Thank you for your reply, I indeed had the same issue with Forza motorsport 7 and FH3. I will see what I can do on the FH4 forums :)

This game seems like a perfect game to drive around and just relax. I hope they can fix it.

Yeah, if the wheel setup/handling was the same as FM7 it would have been a great mix. Beats me why they came up with the illogical setup they have right now, cumbersome, illogical and basically flawed.

Agree..before getting VR, Forza 7 was actually my favourite racing game, despite being a "serious simmer with serious equipment". I managed to get the FFB to an awesome state, maybe missing 5% to AC/AMS.

[QUOTE = "thepharcyde, bericht: 2837662, lid: 227389"] Dit is mijn gevoel, niets nieuws dus ik zal het niet kopen [/ QUOTE]
This is my feeling, nothing new so will not be buying

my experience is that all Forza games do not really work well with a wheel, does not come close to the well-known sims, and many problems, often crash. A real console arcade game for controllers

Had same thing whit demo and other bugs like disapearing cars, road, stoping for no reason, but beside that i kinda like it, may consider buying in future when it`s fixed properly

Yeah, is not a bad arcade racing game it's pretty fun when I don't have random crashes every 10 minutes....I guess just need some fixes asap.

I'm enjoying the game with the free trial game pass.
First this need to be stated, the production value and content is through the roof and optimisation on PC is fantastic.
I have to agree that the whole festival BS and voices are supremely annoying.
This game is playing with my nerves. I'm having an absolute blast driving trough that phenomenal scenery for 5 minutes, always followed by 1 minutes of total cringe that makes me want to punch the screen really hard. I have yet to try it on my G920 tho.
If only there was a britpop radio full of pulp, blur, oasis, the verve etc. to match the setting...
The worse is that I'm pretty sure nobody is enjoying that **** show festival, not even teenagers. That thing needs to go in the next installment.
So far i'm playing with a controller and I have a very good reminiscent feeling of PGR2 on the driving side, which is usual for the series. I played both 1 and 2 but skipped 3.
I think I will keep the pass for a month after trial to try to finish the game and see whats in for my xbox one.
As for the whole formula, I think that Forza Horizon 1 and 2 were better games. I don't like the constant showering of rewards, it just gives me the opposite feeling of achieving nothing.
To sum-up the game gives me the impression of eating the finest french pastry that the "cake boss" guy put layers and layers of shitty american frosting on it.
