Yes. Backup the originals if you care to take the time. You can get them back by deleting all the sound folders that this sound pack replaces via steam.

These sounds are great. Music to my ears!

I have, however, stuttering sound coming from, it seems, the C7R when I'm driving in a BMW GT2 ( I haven't noticed it in other combinations).

I saw @Fonsecker said: "if u experience stuttering or complete loss of sounds of one or more cars, i recommend changing the max channels in the audio.ini:

MAX_CHANNELS=512 "

Where's the audio.ini? Can anyone point me in the right direction?

And... should I change the MAX CHANNELS to 512 - is that the idea?

^^ it might be in a different directory for you depending on where you installed AC.

EDIT: (just changed it and tried it) changing Max Channels to 512 has fixed the problem.

it should also work if you open the GUID.TXT from the Lambo SFX folder and delete the event from the gear_int

Only have the R8 guid.txt here so in this txt its this line that should be deleted:

i love the power of external sound of 458 gt2 how i can hear it with this power also gear down and blast and so on ... on internal view
this is my trial , but is not good low strength inside and not so great sensation like rear sound. uffff where i have wrong ???

ah excellent.. could you possibly offer me some guidance on how to do it.. i renamed the P4/5 soundbank and GUIDs to the same as the original SGC003C soundbank file but there was no engine sounds.. just wind and road noise etc..

afterward i delete original, copy other fonsecker files, that's all .

in sfx folder confirm , don't rename name is fixed , if you change it ,it don't recognize any more
