Welcome to the RD Racing Club.

For the first race in the 2023 @Fat-Alfie Championship we start with the shortest of his magnificent tracks. Thomson Road Grand Prix circuit was a former street circuit in the vicinity of Singapore.

The circuit starts with the "Thomson Mile", a mile-long stretch along Upper Thomson Road. Halfway through this stretch of road, there was "The Hump", a right hand turn that caused drivers to lift off the ground if they sped past this bend.

The Thomson Road Grand Prix circuit had many challenging features, including the treacherous "Circus Hairpin" bends and the "Snakes" section. In particular, the "Murder Mile" feature of this track derived its name from the fact that many racing accidents occurred along this stretch. Similarly, "Devil's Bend" got its name because it was the most dangerous part of the circuit.

THIS EVENT IS AN 12 HOUR RACE SIMULATION FROM DAWN TO DUSK USING 12X TIME MULTIPLIER. YOU NEED TO HAVE CM AND CSP INSTALLED WITH THE CSP OPTION "WEATHERFX" ACTIVE WITH SOL OR DEFAULT AS SETTING.

If you don't have an Emperor account yet, ask for one by posting in this thread (only for premium members).

Especially the new and inexperienced drivers are recommended to participate. There are a lot of learning opportunities but without the intensity and stress of the GT3/4 cars or the endurance multiclass cars. It's also good step up for those kind of events.

Looking at the number of Abarth's, is this a separate championship between Mazda and Abarth.
i say that because i would have assumed a rush on the Mazda if both scored the same in this event.?

It's a multiclass championship, Ernie.

Sorry, not sure what's going on... The cars have changed... Are we going g back to the Mazda or shall I download these ones
Apparently a wrong schedule of the classic cars at the same time as the real one on server 4.
I've corrected it now.
