Oh haha thank you. I am sorry for not fixing mistakes or imperfections with this. I couldn't do better at the time and i think this car is a good testament for the progression i made over the years

Fantastic.
There's only big problem: the car often stops accelerating with fifth or sixth gear and it goes beyond only on circuits with very long straights, like Old Monza Complete or AVUS. You should do something because it's a real pity for such a good car...!

The car's great, but after updating from Formula Rapide 2018 to this, the AI seems to top out at 186 mph or so.

Fantastic car but
Is there an ini.file I can adjust in some way to enable the ai to change up out of 4th gear?
They top out in 4th which makes them un raceable!

A blast to drive. Would love to have a more unique sound(still looking through other mods for one that fits). Also AI has an incredibly hard time with this car so offline racing hasn't been great. Still, loving hotlapping this thing, thanks for your work

Thank you. Yea i originally wanted to go with a V12 sound, but i just don´t have the skills with Fmod to make my own, and i couldn´t find a good one. So unless someone is willing to share his work, i think i will stick with the secund best thing :S

My favourite formula car in the game for putting to shame other formula cars but there is a problem with the AI not going past fifth gear. Please see if you can fix it. Thanks.

For a first effort, this does deserve some applause but there's lots of potential to make it better.

Pros - The model is on point.
V10 sound
Different skins
Refreshing flowing aesthetic as opposed to the sharpness of the other F1 mods as of recent

Cons - The V10 sound is the same as the Ferrari F2004; not a big con but still could be better.

Skins - While there's plenty to go round, its literally a change of colour with the back end behind the bull (looks familiar, F1 fans?) on the side. They're not the worst but they could been made entirely different. To be fair though, the Super GP, another fictional single seater, now has many F1 and Indy skins, and some could emerge for this car as well.

The wheel display - It's got what you need, but it's a little roughly finished and makes the wheel almost like the one from the 2018 Renault F1 car. Gear number is a little oversized in comparison to other stats in my opinion. Shift lights are good though, and I like the 2000's F1 vibe with it.

Physics - Not bad, but not realistic either (yes already in description, yes, it's a fictional car, I know). Yet how it's able to take the Indianapolis Oval corners flat out when all other cars can't is beyond me (possibly in a good way).

In conclusion, the Formula Rapide seems like a good start all around. Keep working on mine and others feedback and over time, this could become an incredible alternative to the Super GP mod.

Thanks allot . Thats a very detailed and useful review . I agree with all of it, but apart from fixes and some more polish, its a closed chapter . I will do better with my next car, and even better with the one after that

This car is the perfect amalgam between the current 2019 F1 Cars and the faster redbull X2011, just think of it like spaghetti with ragu bolognese, spaghetti alone is already amazing, but it's quite plain so with the adding of ragu carbonara it spices it all up and gives it the extra flavour, the ride is buttersmooth just like that tomato sauce but the speed still makes the texture rougher just like the minced meat and completely changes the experience of the food you're about to eat, but it's not like adding arrabiata ragu to your spaghetti as the x2011 speed feels more like the peppers added onto it and that would make it way too spicy and completely out of reach for a lot of people, not too mention the FFB feels like a good grating of parmigiano reggiano, it is the final ingredient to a perfect dish of spaghetti, knock off chese completely ruins everything.

Of course we shouldn't forget about the glorious V10 sounds, just like a glass of Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore, a pleasure to your senses, and it completes the experience.

P.S The striped livery is sick! Want to know who made it.

Very good concept for the car, with a very good handling model. One small thing is that there is no Halo, that could be a major improvement.

I'm "scared" about FFB. It's strange, even with FFB Clip at 88%. It's so "harsh", especially at low speeds. But I think your work is wonderful, and go on with it. Maybe, add a little more difficult in driving the Rapide. Now it's quite simple.

Yea the FFB is pretty much a different result on every client it seems haha. I would suggest lowering the road kerb and ABS gain instead of the overall strenght with the FFB app

-rims are quite flat, would look much better and faster with F1-styled rims
-tyre textures aren't the best
-only one LOD, which can be fixed easily(LOD-generator)
(-sound, but this is completely subjective, I simply don't quite like the V10 sound)

All in all a really nice car and I have huge respect for people making complete cars by scratch. :)

Thanks allot :) Gotta check out that LOD generator for sure. Im not a huge fan of the F2004 sound as well, but i struggled to make one myself that is better
