What means this is not a ready to race kit?

Hey guys,
I have a question about the Accuforce DIY Steering KIT: https://www.simxperience.com/products/accessories/accuforcesteering/accuforcewheeldiykit.aspx
On there website they say, that this is not a ready to race and a DIY kit. So do I just need to buy a Wheel: https://jafspeed.***********/jafspeed/porsche-steering-wheel + Adapter: https://www.ascher-racing.com/shop/...ervo-shaft=14+mm+(Lenze+MCS09,+AccuForce+DIY) ?
Or do I have to do or buy something else?

I was looking at the kit myself. Not sure just how much fab work is involved with the kit but it looks like you at least have to fab up a bracket to mount the motor as well as add on the quick release and the wheel.

Hopefully someone with actually experience with the kit with chime in but for a little more money they sell one that looks loke all you need to add is the quick release and wheel and would be ready to go.

I have 610 Euro Budget and I dont know if I should buy a Fanatec v2.5 or a dd Base.
Before I had the t300 Alcantra which is sold alredy. Im just using the T3PA Pedals. I dont know if its worth buying the DIY KIT or waiting for more money and buy something higher quality and take the Fanatec as a bridging.



2 options I found are:

Alu Rig+Fanatec Wheelbase and DIY Steering Wheel (I have alredy owned the Wheel)


or



Accuforce Steering (DIY KIT or when I can find a promo code the V2)+my old Rig which is a wooden GT1 Evo Simlab Style (Its stable (but not as good as the Alu rigs) but not very good looking)



Can someone tell my what is the best?

Other items still listed at their site are all OUT OF STOCK..

Steering clamps for 14mm shafts appear to be unavailable separately off-the-shelf anywhere;
even with access to a band saw, drill press and hole saw,
fabricating a suitable steering wheel adapter for the AccuForce DIY cost about US$40
in materials, hardware and consumables (e.g. aluminum cutting oil),
not to mention a fair amount of time and bother.

Consider spending another $100 for the AccuForce "Your Way" to get their bundled
steering wheel adapter, then remove its motor housing if unwanted.

You can DIY a direct drive wheel for cheaper than Accuforce DIY.

You will want the one with the AASD and 10k PPR encoder, plus ask for shielded cables (if you google Lisa from MIGE, you can find her current info, when I ordered from her it was

Do NOT get the Biss C encoder because you’ll not be able to use it unless you have a Simucube controller which will exceed your budget.
you’ll want the MIGE 130ST-M10010 with AASD and shielded cables.
After that, join Thanos’ Discord and order a DIY DD motor custom PCB from him.

There are other servos people use that are also compatible but I recommend the M10010 because you can convert it to a Simucube in the future after saving up.

it’s a long read and a lot of time to build, but it’ll be way way better than a Fanatec CSW and it’s within your budget too. Good luck
