Shaders light patch

Some cars have yellow lights, is there a way to change it to white?

Also is there a way to change backgrounds in loading screen?

The mod is using a random background from a Kunos track, also looks very blurry. It's horrible. Anyway to fix it?

i use oculus rift. when i disable shadows in content manager i get darker right eye view (imposible to drive). when i check the shadow patch im ok BUT in content manager says "not recomendet if using shader patch. what should i do?

I can figure out why I have lights on all tracks I add the light config to except Le Mans 2017? At night there I only have the ferris wheel lights on even though the Shader lights debug app shows 1400 lights but 0 active!

A big "Thank you" to all of you guys who spend your time advancing this software.
Looking back at it's beginning until now, who would have guessed we'd be here with day-night transitions, rain, custom shaders or any number of other features.
It speaks to dedication and most of all...a lot of talented folks.

I also experience this bug. Was fine until a couple of updates ago. I'd love to have this track back at night.

Are any other VR users having issues with pink windows on opponent cars?
I first saw it on a mod car but noticed it on the 250 GTO also. I thought it might have been caused by a dodgy shaders patch install somehow, the issue is only present with shaders patch activated, so I deleted and reinstalled it but that didn't help. I've tried multiple versions of the patch all with this issue.
It is only present when opponent cars are on an incline or maybe decline ahead of me and only at certain angles (maybe to do with the sun?) as I can have 5 or so cars in front but might only have pink windows on 2 of them.
I then wondered if it was caused by reinstalling the shaders patch whilst SOL was installed (my first SOL install was a straight overwrite) so I deleted all affected files did a steam verify and then reinstalled SOL using JSGME so I could disable it for future updates to the shaders patch. This seemed to fix the issue at first (I tested again at the section of track and with the same cars as before, where it happened previously) and no pink windows but it has somehow crept back even though I'm pretty sure I haven't updated the shaders patch since :/ This made me wonder if it could be to do with switching between vanilla weathers and SOL weathers somehow?
It is such a strange and annoying bug. If I watch a replay of it in single screen I don't see the pink windows but then I watch in VR and they are there

I think this is due to someone adding interior LED's to all the cars and kind of went overboard with the pink lighting in most cars. You could copy an earlier version of your extensions/cars folder to get rid of them, or go in an manually edit out the lines pertaining to interior lighting on the cars that you're using.

Even if this doesn't work I really appreciate the suggestion and if it does, you sir are a legend! Trouble is though one of the cars is an unreleased mod car (there is one up ahead in that image) and there is no way anyone has created an extension for that car yet. Is is something that is there (and possibly overdone) for all cars even without a lights extension thingy, maybe based off the name of objects or something (yes, I have no idea what I'm talking about)?

Maybe I should add as well I did close to a full reinstall to try and fix this by removing AC in Steam and then manually deleting all the texture, weather, PP etc folders (including My Docs) before reinstalling AC, I basically removed pretty much everything other than my car and track folders.

To be honest I'm not an expert on how the shader patch hooks the config files to the cars, but yes, if someone just copied an existing car as the basis for their new mod, it theoretically might be possible for it to pickup the config for the original car. Does the car have any lighting? If so, it must be using a config.

Yes it has lights, I think you might be on to something here :) I will look into it tomorrow after work. Thank you for the help! I'll be a happy boy when I have transparent windows again!

Transparent objects need to use the correct materials (same ones 99% of kunos cars use, I don't know about the GTO in particular and I noticed the other day the Escort uses a weird shader) or else the shader patch's optimizations for Sol will draw them pink.

Maybe try removing the following file: extension\config\cars\kunos\ks_ferrari_250_gto.ini and see if the purple goes away from that Ferrari in your screenshot. All of the lighting for the car will be dark as well, but at least you'll know where the culprit is.

I will test the extensions out first and if the issue persists I will post in the SOL thread incase it is a conflict between SOL and the 250 GTO shaders. Sounds like it might be the latter based on Michael's post. The mod car is basically a competitor for the 250 GTO and maybe is using similar shader values for the windows. I might try replacing them in CM with those of another car as a little test.

Still scratching my head over this pink window thing. The issue is the sky when seen through an opponents windows, when there is sky visible through the opponent car window it turns pink, when there are other objects like trees or buildings visible through the window of opponent cars there is no issue. It also only happens in VR. It isn't a shader issue and the only Kunos car I have found with the issue is the 250 GTO. I've tried messing with the shaders patch settings and I checked the car lights cfg but the mod car that has the issue doesnt have one and the 250 GTO does.

Can someone using Oculus VR possibly confirm if they also have the bug? Easiest way to test is do a quick race at Bridgehampton with a load of 250 GTO AI, start the race and press ctrl+3 (on num pad) to jump onboard the AI 250 GTO infront of you and you should see pink windows on the car directly ahead of you even before the lights go out as there is clear sky ahead on the Bridgehapmton S/F straight. You need to have shaders patch and Sol enabled also.

I'm running Sol 1.1.1 and preview74.
Does anybody know how to make a car that doesn't generate sparks, generate sparks. The formula hybrid 2019 does but my preferred AFCL 2019 mod doesn't. Anybody know a solution? Would appreciate any assistance from anyone.
