After reading the replies from the post I made, link in the above post.

There are currently 3 replies.

2 of the replies are saying they or there friends have had this happened. 1 of them said: try having one of the players with the problem be the host. But Dan tried to host it I believe.

The other reply is from a moderator and they say:
And have people check the Network Address Translation (NAT) as mentioned, too. That can be a real problem if someone in the room does not have their router/modem set to OPEN.

I know I have my router NAT is set to Open and I have port forward all the Xbox ports.


Just having another think about this, it can't really be our setups as we can all join, just not all together, so I am starting to think it is the Forza servers.

Great race. Thanks to Karl for hosting the event.
It was a shame about the connection issues going on.
We ended up doing 14 laps.

I came 4th in the end after having a few off's.

I think I have the save of the race and if I have, will upload it to my storefront tomorrow.


It is a weird issue with the connection problems we had today with Dan and Wayne, only one of them could be in.
It ruled out for me if the problem was my end as it also happened when Karl hosted it.

I think the issue to be honest is the Forza servers, more than anything.

I have made a post over at the Forza main forum, see if we can get this sorted.

What do you all think to a Clio V6 Championship?
I could run it on either Tuesday, Friday or Saturday evening.

Something like a total of 10 events, 1 a week or 1 every 2 weeks, whatever suits you all.

Haha you never know, but we should be allowed one north and one south.

I'm gonna have a proper good look through my router today, but I'm not holding out much hope seeing as BT are as useful as a chocolate kettle it seems.

Dan, I found a link on Xbox.com which should have all the info you need, I am sure you are aware of this, but thought I would post it anyway.

The only thing I don't think it says is about, is to make sure you set your NAT to: Open
Which you said it was yestarday I believe.

Good work Dylan! I enjoyed that. There were quite a few laps were you and I were duking it out but I noticed all that great racing was cut down to the moment I ran wide and you came through between turns 3 and 4!

Hmmmm, what you say here may be an issue for me too then...

I recently had to fully reset my router and all my settings have gone.

I managed to race a few races and play Halo online etc. but last night has made me think that maybe they were just lucky games...

I'll check my settings tomorrow night as I think I'm gonna need to forward ports and put my 360 in the DMZ again etc.
The strange thing is though, when I run the Xbox Live connection test, it doesn't come up with any warnings about NAT...

I think they will be stock Clio V6, they seemed great last night.
I am going to look at it this weekend and will know more then, including tracks/laps etc...

Just trying to see if there was interest and there is.

Once I have work things out this weekend, I will see what Day (Tuesday/Friday/Saturday) / Time is best for everyone.
It looks like, every two weeks will be the plan, which I am happy with.

I put my Xbox 360 on a high IP (192.168.1.200) then setup the port forwards (found on xbox.com), opened NAT (was set to secured before, but no NAT warning) and made sure UPnP was on.

I may put it into DMZ, need to look up on that more.
