General Rules

Art. 1:

All of you have got one vote for important discussions about changes for the league, if they are essential and important. So, if someone wants to throw somebody out of the league, or change other essential things, we will always make a poll. If we will reach a percentage of 50-50, we won’t change anything about the certain issue. We can add and change rules in a reasonable time with a majority of votes (50%+).

Art.2:
The races will take place on Sunday, 8 p.m. GMT+2. If one of you cannot join us for whatever reason, the race will still be held. However, in special cases, we can also postpone a race, but the decision will be taken by me.

Art.2b:
If anyone suffers from connection problems before the Qualifying reaches the 5 minutes-limit, we will restart. In particular cases, we can also restart after the 5 minutes-limit, for example if one of the Championship-contenders disconnects before the decisive race. However, to avoid people from asking to restart after the middle of the race, the limit for those special restarts is 5 laps into the race.

Art.3:
The cars we choose at the beginning of the season will remain our cars for the rest of it. However, if one of you can't take part in one of the races, a reserve-driver can take his place.

Art.4:
No more than one move across the track to defend on straights.
No excessive weaving when behind another car trying to overtake. Obviously a dummie move is fine but I don’t want 4 or 5 moves across the track.
If you lock up try to miss any cars infront of you. Nothing worse than having your race ruined for this reason.

Art.5:

Before we declare a penalty, we will adress a warning to the person involved. It’s like a yellow card, and he will be under closer investigation in the next races. If this person repeats this behavior next race, he will be punished with one of the four penalties.
There are 4 types of penalties that can be given out after the race if there is something that happens which is seen as unfair, cheating or breaking the rules. They are:
- Post race 10 seconds penalty
- Post race 20 seconds penalty
- Post race disqualification
- Permanent ban from the series (if someone is blamed repeatedly for being unfair by the others even without real evidence for the stewards!!!)

Art.5b
The people to decide about the penalties are: DaMsKoNL, mlrockets, Daniel Ciglar. If one of them is under investigation, or can’t join the race, the backup- steward LodestarNS350 will take his place.

Art.5c
A penalty must be given until 12 p.m. (00:00 o’clock) on the day after the race. So if the race is on Sunday, the penalty must be declared until 12 p.m. on Monday. If the penalty is not declared until then, we take the offcial race result. You have to expect that in such cases I won’t be able to post the Championship standings until next days midnight.
The penalty must be declared by one of the stewards with a personal message. The personal message must contain the reason for the penalty and the penalty itself.

Art.6

We will need at least 8 people to start a race. If there is any less the race will not start.

Count me in. PSN: Bahnzo. Team: Lotus Renault

Couple questions, are we going to limit setups? I think we all know about the 11/11 springs, are we just going to allow it or cap it at something like 8/8? I'd also assume that corner cutting won't be allowed..ie: at least two wheels on the racing track at all times.

Kevin, not going to worry about the springs deal...i mean it does suck, but there are a few other things you can do to change your set up...theres no real way to limit it...so we'll go with it until a patch hopefully fixes things...absolutely no corner cutting...if you do, take a drive through penalty...

And that's fine, it'd be impossible to police anyways.

And it's Ken, btw :)

I'm racing in another league at ARL, and they have a rule no springs higher than 6/6....so i'll likely be slower than quite a few of everybody, because i'll be using this league to iron out the tweaks of my setup for my ARL race on Thursday...also, are we racing this week?

Just wondering if their are enough people to start a league for those of us who are on the other side of the world to Europe.

Most of the racing leagues start just as im walking out the door to work.

just wondering if their are many aussies out their wanting to race in a league on a weekly or fortnightly schedule.

I know Japan and Singapore share the same if not similar timezone too.

even those in Europe who are up at odd times.

+Hey Guys

I wanna put a league together for those in Asia/Australia so we can actually race at a reasonable time. The times will probably be at 19:00 CST (China Standard Time) or +8 GMT.

The series will start as soon as there are enough people. In the comments section if you are interested, put your name and GFWL. Also if you can some suggestions of names for the series.

I have a proposed calender for the series but it is not final.

The guys who get in early will have first car preference. 8 teams, 2 drivers each (Due to 16 players cars). The following teams will be dropped.
  • HRT
  • Virgin
  • Toro Rosso
  • Force India
This also is not final but is most likely. Lotus and Williams can not be dropped because of their history and Sauber debuted some World Champions. This IS debatable though.

This is the Proposed calender. It is a bit jumbled up but this does not matter to us. Some Tracks may not be included but again, this is dabateable.
  1. Australian Grand Prix
  2. Brazilian Grand Prix
  3. Canadian Grand Prix
  4. Spanish Grand Prix
  5. Monaco Grand Prix
  6. British Grand Prix
  7. German Grand Prix
  8. Belgium Grand Prix
  9. Italian Grand Prix
  10. Singapore Grand Prix
  11. Abu Dhabi Grand Prix
  12. Indian Grand Prix
  13. Korean Grand Prix
  14. Malaysian Grand Prix
  15. Japanese Grand Prix
The calender is split into 4 sections
  1. Pacific
  2. Old Historical European
  3. New Circuits
  4. Asia
This series will include a Drivers Championship and Constructors Championship. But it will also have a "Team Championship" and "Manufacturers Championship"

The Team Championship will be made of different teams with various names made by YOU! It may include someone from Ferrari, Red Bull, Mclaren and Mercedes. (For Drivers only) This team may be called AllStars Racing Team for example. Each team must include 2 or 4 drivers. 3 if neccessary. The Manufacturers championship will be made of
  • Ferrari
  • Mercedes
  • Renault
  • Cosworth
The engine suppliers.

So please sign up will be great. Dates will be discussed once there is enough drivers.

This was found by the mods over at ARL. Apparently the Renault is around a half second slower than every car, and the Toro Rosso is a full second slower. This was tested using equal cars, same setups and no assists. so if you have the Renault or Toro, switch to a different car until CM patches this. I'll be switching to Red Bull....
