AC Mystery Event #3, Tuesday 24th August 2021

Welcome to the RD Racing Club.

Here's the 3rd Mystery event as the first two were quite a succes.

Storyline:
You are abroad visiting your brother and his wife who live in the country, far from the nearest town. When you arrive, there is a life or death emergency. Your sister-in-law has diabetes but they're out of insulin and she's already in shock. Unfortunately, your brother had a skiing accident with the neighbor and they both broke their leg.
So you are the only hope to get the insulin at the nearest pharmacy and to get it very, very quickly. You've never been there and you don't know the roads. You can choose between your brother's car and the neighbour's car. They are both fast, but they have very different characteristics. So which one do you choose? Make a quick decision, you're running out of time.

The characteristics of the mystery events are:

• FUN IS KEY!
• No preparation beforehand!
• Cars are unknown until start of the event
• Cars have very few setup options so everyone has basically the same car.
• Track is unknown until start of the event
• No practice, only qualify (20min) and race (40min)
• Total duration roughly 1 hour 20 minutes, including sign up and install mod if needed.

This event will not be published on s.gp until 10 min before it starts to keep it secret AND to give you time to sign up and install a mod if needed.

Event details:

• 21.00 CEST, 20:00 BST (19:00 UTC) Event posted on S.GP , sign up now and install mods if needed! BE ON TIME!
• 21:10 CEST, 20:10 BST (19:10 UTC) | 3min - Practice (forced by S.GP)
• 21:15 CEST, 20:15 BST (19:15 UTC) | 20 minutes - Qualification
• 21:37 CEST, 20:37 BST (19:37 UTC) | 40 minutes - Race

You have to use the qualification to calculate tyre pressures and fuel load for the race.

All premium members can sign up for this event and slots are limited so make sure to tag a friend! This event will take place on the newly developed platform Simracing.GP and it's extremely easy to join!

A message to all Drivers

If you run off track, you must check to see that its clear before you re enter the track. Do not just keep the throttle pinned and pull back on track.
On re-entering the track stay off the racing line until you are up to race speed and do not block any fast approaching car.

Always try to re-enter the track parallel to the racing line.

When joining the track from the pits, remain inside the white line and stay off the racing line until you are up to speed.

During qualification, do not race on your out lap, let other drivers by.


Golden Rule

1. If you hit somebody, sending them off the track and carry on like nothing happened, you take the risk of being banned for 30 days.
2. Instead, you should always wait for the affected drivers, and that way you can be 100% sure you will not get a ban.

Track limits

1. No more than 2 wheels over the white/yellow line without a lift of the gas please.
   You will be penalized if you break our rules
