I recently sort permission from Woochoo to convert the excellent rfactor track to RACE07/gtr Evo/RaceOn. I asked Ken to kindly do it for me , so here is the 1967 Longford renamed to 67Longford to stop any clashing with other tracks. I asked woochoo for the permission. And then asked ken to do the GTL and GTR2 version's, All the links are available below.
The aiw has been done for these simbin formats and although the rfactor track is a stunning piece of work there are certain shaders used in rfactor via BTB that this format does not recognise .. I have tried to do it justice and keep with the appearance during any changes to materials and remapping, lighting etc..it needed to run and look similar in these formats....
start/pitlights added, rain reflections,
cameras were adapted for these versions by me.
see Readme enclosed in the track RAR. Sent yesterday by Woochoo.
Have fun
Cheers Ian

here i am reviving an old thread. The news, Uni is done for the year so updating from v0.9 will begin soon. Also, as a student of UTas' HITLab i get to play with some nifty things from time to time. Here is one of them, the VisionSpace (w/my own G25):
I thought some of you might like to see it.

haha, it's strange. it seems to psychologically scale pretty well. While it's a pretty big image, it's roughly the right distance away to seem right. I guess it's all a matter of field of view, which approaches 180 degrees in there. The best part: in the F1 mods you can see the mirrors out on the sidepods!

F*ck me, that's the biggest Formula Vee Dash I *ever* saw! ;) Even the real cars didn't have one that large :)

Must've helped the sensation of speed though... even in the fun lil' Vees.

It was third in the running for a while, but i think it ended up fourth or fifth. Still very pleased with that though!
Anyway, here is a pic from last night that i posted in another thread. might as well post it here while i'm here

Showing my VW beetle track side objects i made yesterday, with my Tasman-Series skins for Strava's Vintage Vee mod
