Wanted to post but its closed now.
and guy said " Yes, the vast majority of cars are designed to understeer when you turn the wheel too much for the speed "
again but short " cars are DESIGNED to UNDERSTEER " whaaat xD
another one " In any racing, real or sim you should turn the wheel the absolute minimum amount "
well xD cars are not designed to understeer but turn fast and easily
also, when you drive fast you not turn so precise and carefully, but fast and hard
I know, i drive different cars daily, i work in car rental and i drive newest cars from 2018 to 2020 from seat ibiza to volvo xc60 or bmw 520d 2018 and i tell you for sure. cars are designed to turn, and when you drive fast, yo not scared to steer too much and be precise but you steer hard and fast, as Nicky Thiim (GTE champion) said bout iracing "yo want be good in iracing you must drive like a girl"
I think same for AC you must drive like a girl , so precise, so finese, so slow mo.
i post this cause i reinstalled AC for like 10 time today (same for PC2, i reinstall them alternately, once im outraged in AC understeer i uninstall it and install PC2, once im outraged in PC2 ffb settings i unistall it and install AC, that happen like 2 month cycle)
and today i just installed AC and think uninstall it again to get back to PC2 tomorrow.
so fo!!!!ken outraged how cars drive there, and this sense of speed boi i tell yo i drive really fast in real life ( i crashed two cars in job) but never go into 90 degree turn at like 50 kph and just get off road lol, and i can tell im goin 50 kph only by looking at speedo and i feel like im goin like 10-20 kph. I tel yo even more in real life i test cars near my home by checking how fast a car can get into 90 degree corner, and im easily make 90 degree corner by 80 kph righ now even with cars as toyota corolla, seat ibiza or my own old bmw e36 i can make 90 degree corner easily at 70 kph, in ac i barely can at 50 kph its so funny
so angry at this game.
i tell you theres no good sim right now for road cars, ACC is just best for gt3 but pc2 would be for road cars if they improve ffb, cars drive like in real life there but yo doin everything by learned habits cause ffb is so poor there
and i didnt even touched rfactor 2 cause scared its AC fanboys making it sound so good and theres even more understeer than AC.. its crap as f... forza horizon is much more comparable to real life than AC

I think i stay with PC2 for something better to come out for now, theres lack some ffb, difficult to catch the slide but at least it need no weird fixing like threading or gyro effect to enable from .ini file. and cars turn there, so dynamic, so much sense of speed i feel like im driving fast.
And gyus i tell you, understeer in AC is too much compared to real life, im really fast in real life and i never experienced so much understeer in real life as i experience in AC even at lower speeds. its just too hard to drive. Real life driving doest require from you to be skilled like fighter jet pilot to drive a car. They make cars easy to drive, them engineers want them cars to be so easy to drive that them drivers would be faster than other teams drivers. its all about how driver can stand g forces, and how fast his body can stand, hows his reactions, his reflex. otherwise if cars was so hard to drive they would no drive so fast in so many cars packs wheel to wheel. i saw video how pro drivers bashing iracing tyre model, one said he never spun at that corner in his whole career, that he feel like hes driving in wet, Nicky Thiim said yo want be good in iracing yo must drive like a girl (carefully)
Them real life drivers not drive carefully, they drive fast, aggressive, them cars glued to ground, so responsive, as they make racecars to be most glued, most responsive, just easy to drive.
in AC everything so slow mo, so floaty, like controlling boat, yo must make so slow, small moves wit the wheel, so precise, controllin throttle and brake very carefully, 1cm too much or less matters. i laught at this.
I remember i think cars really drive like that then i saw Ayrton Senna drivin Honda NSX an i saw how fast he go to corner, and how wide he turning wheel. he went in corner like 90 degree at speed like 120-160 kph and turned wheel like 180-270 degree an he still turnin. then i saw porsche 919 tribute lap an nordschleife, cars so glued to floor, then i saw Scott Mclaughin lap at bathurst in V8 supercars, he went flying at some corners, some corners he took 2 wheels airbone and he still was turnin, now even spun. i watched all this videos and couldnt believe its real, first i thought was if i saw this in game i would consider it arcade, and it was all real life videos how tey drive in real life. i tell yo AC is just too hard. its nothing to shame if yo admit it.

That's what this threading problem causes. It's missing tire touching the road and also input information coming from the steering wheel giving the floaty feel.
Did you try optimization in Content Manager. And for some reason Pro Tyre mod seemed to help let more physics come through as well but not as good as optimization.

im not touching AC again, gave it last chance and stand 30 minutes with it. also this pro tyre mod seems like improvement AC needs, but how about online? it would be considered cheat i think? or it not work online? as im driving mostly online. if all AC users have this mod, or it was how they done the game then ok. btw i see they improved understeer fell in ACC, i have no issues there, but then again i never drove GT3 or GT4 car, so i cant tell, but as i drive road cars, if i understeer at lower speeds i see understeer feel in ACC much comparable to what i feel in RL

Pro Tyre has nothing to do with actual physics or traction. It only gives more detailed tire temperatures.
But I guess it kind of makes sense? It's getting tire temperatures from tire physics that are not being used, somehow let's a little bit more physics come through.
Not sure how it's doing it I can only describe what I'm feeling.
Only Stefano could explain what's going on!

I juts found this video as i wanted to compare new project car3 indycar at laguna seca gameplay to real life, ill post it below but what i found for now. both real life and pc3 you steer a lot, shaking wheel a lot, you steer hard and correct, straighten wheel, turn, correct a lot. in ac and iracing it looks so static yo just turn wheel like robot at same degree as if yo remember how to turn wheel to make turn. see and compare below, but what i also noticed how it must be wide fov in asseto to match both iracing and real life to have same sense of speed. iracing and real life have like the same fov and drive at same speed but in ac for speed to look matched yo must make superwide fov. just look, then compare in to PC3 gameplay video they just released, and then compare wheel moving, in PC3 and Real life yo see almost same wheel movement, in iracing and AC its so static
