Trail braking really helps, you want to keep some throttle on to balance the car (even in fast corners I don't lift completely or it's easy to lose the car). They are certainly a bit different than the R07 minis you're used to.

I don't think you really need to stamp on the pedal with these, roll on roll off works best for me and doing most of my braking in a straight line. rolling off as starting to turn in.

Dropping the rear pressures can help a little too, but there's not really much setup-wise on offer.

Thanks guys. Everything was going fine until my coworkers popped out on skype in the middle of second lap. Went straight ahead in a curve, with nasty results to my car. Anyway, had to get the call so I'm glad I didn't take anyone with me. Will wait for another opportunity. Cheers.

Don't forget all the Mini's have launch control, assign a button to it.

On the start line push the button and hold it (you will see it engages 1st gear)
Press the gas to the max!
Wait for the start and release the button and your off. Zooooom away.
Change to 2nd gear as normal and carry on up the gear box.
