Hey boys, looks like a fairly small grid for tonight's race, with that in mind, would you guys rather push this event back to next Saturday in the hopes of a bigger grid? Or would you rather race tonight as is?

I'll go with the flow, but agreed the lack of numbers will make for a procession, which I would rather avoid if possible

might be better to postpone till next week and use the full Spielberg Gp track, the short track is cool but this Ultima GTR beast is even more fun on the Gp track, heaps more places to overtake, and my setup still works a treat

All good Damien, we don't discriminate if your new and learning, in fact we will most likely offer you assistance as @Nick Milton has said. As far as lap times are concerned a 50 to 52 second lap is probably the norm, but some of the ultra fast guys are posting mid to high 48's. The best way to learn is to just get involved, jump in the deep end, so to speak

Please, don't let that scare you off, there's a great crew of sim racing addicts here that will help you out with anything they can, so don't be shy to ask for assistance mate.

Yeah I'm happy to push it back, or maybe race a new combo entirely next week? Not sure if the reason for the low number is due to the combos difficulty. I personally really like it but it's a bit of a handle.

Agreed, maybe we can see what the other guys think about a new combo based on the difficulty of this one.
Although I tweaked the setup a little more last night, made it a little smoother by lowering the rear springs to 160nm and the front ARB to 45, and with max wing settings I can hit T1 in 3rd now

Actually, next weekend I might do a mystery event so we just rock up and it's an entirely random combo so that people can't practice the sh*t out of it during the week

Only way to catch the front runners is laps, but a random would be a boot load of fun
