Seemingly coming out of nowhere, Kunos Simulazioni have confirmed the highly anticipated Ferrari 70th Anniversary Assetto Corsa DLC is on its way, releasing this September 19th!

Created to mark the 70th anniversary of the Ferrari brand, the new Assetto Corsa DLC offering will contain some of the most iconic road and racing machines produced by the legendary marque, including plenty of historic content and the 2017 specification Formula One car that currently sits second in the Formula One World Drivers Championship.

As a reminder you can check out the Ferrari Celebration Pack DLC contents below:
  • 1962 250 GTO
  • 1967 330 P4
  • 1967 312/67
  • 1984 288 GTO
  • 2004 F2004
  • 2017 812 Superfast
  • Ferrari SF70H 2017 F1 Car

With Kunos having confirmed the new DLC is just seven days away from a public release on PC (Xbox One and PS4 to follow at a later date), the Italian development team have released a nice new trailer for one of the most spectacular cars included in the pack, the stunning 1962 issue Ferrari 250 GTO, which can be viewed below:

Introducing the Ferrari 250 GTO... The 250 GTO model was the pinnacle of the development of the 250 GT series in competition form, whilst still remaining a road car. It made its public debut at the annual pre-season Ferrari press conference in January 1962, and was the only front-engined model on display, with its monoposto and sports racing counterparts all having a mid-engine configuration. The 250 GTO was the ultimate expression of the Ferrari 250 GT car. It was equally at home on the road or track – perhaps the last dual purpose road/race car produced – and has achieved legendary status amongst aficionados of the marque. With only a relatively small production run of thirty-six cars, and with many of the examples produced having a great racing pedigree, it has become one of the icons of Ferrari's production history, with a revered position in collectors' circles.

Assetto Corsa is a racing simulation from Kunos Simulazioni available for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.

Well, the vast majority of complaints in these threads come from on-line racers, so what do you want me to say? And it's always about the same old things...
Complaints are coming from everywhere. You only notice more those you don't agree with. Offline racers complains about the career mode, missing tracks, better AI, championships. Everyone complains and everyone is annoying. We either let people complain or we all shut up and let kunos decide what to do.

I think as an outsider, you can see the Italo-centric way content is released for this game.

And I understand that in a way. Same as GT with the endless Japanese nonsense they dribble out.

But to make the game more interesting and playable online, you need cars and tracks that people are going to play, that increase participation. And make leagues more interesting.

That is pretty much exclusively GT3 and GT content on public servers. So why not release the new Ferrari turbo car, (wtf when the new 911 and Audi are there) the Bentley, AM Vantage in V12 and V8 form. New BMW.

As a player, that is what I want, not more old road based cars or histrionic stuff.

That no-one is going to use, play or have anything to do with.

Italo-centric? What about the 25 Porsche or the Lotus cars?

And there we go again..., "everyone complains". Not me... So it's not everyone. And I really don't think Kunos will listen even for a second to the silly complaints, I think they very much do whatever they want already.

You complained about people complaining. As i said, everyone complains, for one reason or another. Kunos can change their "to-do list" based on our feedback. That can come via suggestion or complaint.

When the last two DLCs came out I stayed awake till midnight just to be able to download them asap. :D This time I'm gonna wake up at 9 am since I know that Kunos will let those Ferraris fly only afternoon. This s@cks. :D

I wish the online player base had some perspective. You're less than 10% of the total player base. The world does not revolve around you. Please remove head from ass and stop acting like you're the only ones who matter.
I don't know how you keep yourself entertained in SP (well I do actually, making mods!) I havent raced online for over a month now and I put maybe an hour or two a week into AC rather than about ten, I can't think of anything to do offline apart from a bit of mod testing and competing in the weekly hotlap challenge when the combo suits (which is sort of like multiplayer anyway.) What on earth do those 90% do in singleplayer! Where does that figure come from anyway? Is it global sales and number of individuals that have fired up MP or something?
