Assetto Corsa Competizione: McLaren 720S GT3 Coming to the Sim

In something of an unexpected move, the rather tasty McLaren 720s GT3 will soon be making an appearance in Assetto Corsa Competizione...

Teasing the car on the Assetto Corsa Competizione social channels a coupe of days ago, Kunos Simulazioni have revealed the new car will be heading to the simulation in the near future, with the McLaren 720s GT3 due to be added to the title as part of the ongoing McLaren Shadow eSport competition.

Having not taken part in either the 2018 or 2019 Blancpain GT Series, the confirmation of the latest piece of racing machinery from McLaren is indeed a welcome surprise, and one that Kunos are understandably pleased to be able to announce for their current racing sim.

With the virtual car already at an advanced stage of development, it will be interesting to see how it stacks up against its fellow GT3 rivals once it releases in the very near future.

The free of charge 2019 content was announced for October. The McL challenge will for sure also be free of charge. The ICGT Challenge content will be released 2020.

I think that's unfair. Kunos have been very generous with free content over the years, they've given us a lot of content across both titles that they could easily have charged for.

The free update to 2019 is on track as far as I know and will come, whether they release other planned content (for free) shouldn't have any impact on the 2019 DLC.

You already have all of the contents what you paid for: 2018 Blancpain GT series with all cars and tracks.
Kunos also released porsche cup for free.

They surely waited for the last round to end to implement all the cars and driver combinations of the season. Now you can relive the whole 2019 season yourself during the winter season (free DLC). Happy days!

Nothing is free. You already pay for the 2019 season update once you buy the game, that's how it works. They did not release anything else for ACC "for free".
