Well everyone is entitled to their opinionsNope.
But can they just buy out Russell for one race? I'm not a lawyer, but that seems like a tangle. I'm sure Williams and Dorrilton Capital would have something to say about that.Money.
It's funny how people think Mercedes can just grab any driver under contract. Racing Point is fighting for P3 in constructors, Perez is not going to go. Russell is at Williams, again seems far-fetched to make a move for a driver in an existing team. It's not even critical for Mercedes to score points anymore as everything is decided, they can literally put anyone in the car, there is no need to pay massive sums to existing teams to release their driver...

Replacement : Maldonardo possibly.
No thanks, we've already had one big accident last weekend!
This makes more sense now.If I'm not mistaken, Russell is under contract with Mercedes and "on loan" to Williams. I'm pretty sure that if Toto gives them a call, he can get Russell in Hamilton's car immediately and Williams can always put whoever is their reserve driver in Russell's place.
He's much too fat to even fit in the carClarkson he is a mercedes fan boy and it would give some funny radio traffic after just 1 lap... and spinning every corner

Susie Wolff
She was never more than average back then. I can't imagine she's any quicker now, after years of playing mother and housewife. And she doesn't have a current super licence either...just sayin'ah ah... but it would be cool to see a woman driver for a change...
