PHYSICS:
  • DHE tyres available for applicable tyre dimensions for the 2020 GTWCH season.
  • Provides better feedback and more traction with less overheating.
  • Available when playing 2020 season. Older seasons retain their corresponding BoP and tyre versions!
  • Wet tyre compound tweaks and fine tuning.
  • Revised BoP system (backend) and added support for 2020 season BoP.
  • Added camber limitations for BOP 2020 as per regulations.
  • Global tyre model improvements in realignment forces based on new data.

  • FMod Studio: fixed continuous play/stop events.
  • Thunder sound is now played already when heavy rain is on the forecast.
UI:
  • Replay HUD: added results table overlay and button to toggle it. (sector times not available for lap-per-lap breakdown).
  • Special Events page minor styling adjustments.
  • Leaderboard: minor styling adjustment.
  • Revised manufacturer logos for the UI and leaderboards.
  • MFD: checkboxes toggle using left-right UI binding and ignore the enter/forward UI binding.
  • Freed up the "enter/forward" button for all controllers - so you can bind that to some other driving function as well on the wheel, the pitmenu checkboxes will only toggle with left/right - and in MP the forward/enter button (when pressed on a directinput controller) won't pop up the chat window (with electronics or pitmenu active).
  • MFD: now always visible even when HUD is hidden (using HUD cycle long press), can be hidden by cycling to empty page or long pressing MFD input.

  • Bindable inputs to increase/decrease FFB gain per car in session.
  • Bindable inputs to increase/decrease master audio volume in session.

Same for me. Had to click on the "news and announcements" section to highlight today's DLC and you can purchase from within that article.

What i always do with new ACC dlc is update the game 1st, Then i go into 'My library' Select ACC and over on the right at my DLC content i then click on 'View dlc instore' Boom! :roflmao: Also instabuy for me, I adore Imola and 2 pretty much new cars for £7.99! No brainer (S397 Take note!) Great job as usual Kunos. Kunos, Rieza and Bugbear are the 3 top devs IMO!

The new AI is great, quite adventurous and mischievous. They seem to capitalize quickly on any mistake, if you pass on the inside they line up to make the undercut on exit.

I've been driving the new Ferrari mostly, I seem to be able to control it better, catching possible spins and making the right corrections quickly. I suppose this is the new tyre model working well with the FFB, I've got such a better feel for the road.

I'm really interested to read the comments on this thread regarding VR. I'd totally given up with VR on ACC, but it's looking like I might have to give it another try.

Ouch - really not a fan of what they've done with the tyre model for the older tyres.

I've gone from 1.24s to 1.29s around the Hatch, mainly because of ridiculous snap oversteer that wasn't there before, or probably more to the point I'm not getting the feedback to tell me I'm on the limit.

Hope it gets fixed soon.

I've had same problem with 2018 BMW on Zolder...tyres like on ice and snap oversteer on each corner basically. I used my old saved setup. Then I've loaded aggressive one (which was basically the same as mine minus proper tyre pressure) and no more snap oversteer and tires felt good again. Haven't tried mine setup afterwards cause I've deleted it as soon as I saw that predefined aggressive solved the problem.

I just think Kunos is heads and tails above other developers at this point, just my opinion. I think the dialed in GT3/GT4 game really progressed their physics and development. I am by far no expert, but no other game compares in the modern era, not even AMS2 (for me). When I read about the new tires and physics = wow. Cannot wait to give it a spin tonight.

I'd love to see some bots for online races since I race privately with family. (This is were AMS/AMS2 excels).

I have been playing since the release and every time I throw the game because of my low FPS. However, for this game 2600x+RTX2070(1440p) is a weak system.

New AI is very interesting. Kunos is good, thanks to Aris for his perfect work.

Im back in to FR2 and Raceroom, where the game is stable at 60 fps. I am thinking about buying a new Ryzen 5000 series for ACC.

Loving update so far, imola in new ferrari put a real smile on my face.

Did the update reset anyone else's FOV settings? Not a big deal but sure mine had changed when I loaded it up.

Yes, actually. Full reset of the fov and triple monitors needed to be enabled and the resolution reset.

However, i actually found the fov to be nigh on spot-on after this and lowered a couple of degrees, and shifted lateral slightly and that was it. One other weird thing was steering was hyper sensitive but rebooted and all good.

Super update, didn't manage to get long on it last night - i don't normally like Ferrari's but i did quite enjoy it around Imola - not that i had any idea where i was going, made me feel like James May !.

Kunos recommended delete old car setups, and use presets and make new ones from that, so delete old

Yeah, I was coming to that conclusion last night. Looks like I've got to dump all my custom setups and redo them from scratch yet again. This will be the 3rd time I've had to do that with ACC.

While I'm all for the devs pushing the boundaries of the physics realism, it does grind my gears that all of the setup work I've done gets trashed just because some clever bugger has come up with an improved tyre model.

Love the new update/DLC. I just took the 911 Cup car for a quick spin on Imola and car behavior/physics are incredible. Christmas came early this year. Cheers to Kunos for amazing work!
I agree, has improved!!! Now i feel more fps, cars movement are more real, and now you can see better trace on track, Love Imola, today i 'll the same from you, love Porsche Cup
