Assetto Corsa Competizione finally hits version one release tomorrow after a long and often exciting early access programme - who's excited?

Yes, finally that day is almost upon us when Kunos Simulazioni push the big green button and deploy the full 'V1' build of Assetto Corsa Competizione on Steam. Featuring the cars, teams and drivers of the 2018 Blancpain GT Series in all their glory, sim racers have been waiting with baited breath for this day to arrive - and its nearly here!

With a few new tracks in the form of Spa, Brands Hatch, Silverstone and Barcelona joining the title, and a wave of new cars too numerous to mention, what combination will you be taking out onto the circuit first?

As a rule, I generally wait for at least one day after the release of a new sim or patch.
I'll usually check in here at RD to see if any body is having issues.
It won't be the case tomorrow.
I've been looking forward to 'flinging' that Acura around Spa since I realized it would be represented.

Has there been any information regarding mouse support in vr?

I'm really hoping it's there as that has kept me away from trying it since last September.
That would interest me too: the lack of mouse support in VR up until now has really ruined the experience with ACC.
What were they thinking? If there is no mouse support in VR in the final release, or at least a date when it will be implemented, ACC is not usable for me. YMMV......

I'm curious to see if they've improved some of the gameplay aspects. Starts, pitstops, radio comms, etc are there but could be a lot better. But my biggest wish for ACC is for plenty of development after 1.0 - especially on the graphics side as I think it might be a few years before the full potential of UE4 can be unlocked.

Yes, very excited for tomorrow and took Thursday off :)

First thing I'll check is what's new in the UI in general and in terms of single player modes (career, championship etc...), then I'll take all the new cars around all the new tracks for a spin.

That's some dedication to a hobby!

I'm always happiest when I have a hobby that I'm very passionate about :)

I thought the same way, but I’ve grudgingly gotten used to a) using my wheel’s dpad or b) reaching out to find my directional keys in the dark.
