London E-Prix Completes rFactor 2 Q4 Content Drop

Last but not least on the list of many Q4 releases for rFactor 2 is something quite unexpected, to say the least. The London ExCeL E-Prix is coming to the simulation many forget also officially features Formula E content.

With so many recent releases in the WEC and BTCC direction, it is an almost forgettable thing that rFactor 2 still officially hosts Formula E content on its platform. What comes, to no great surprise, with not the best response on the internet is the release of one of Formula E's tracks, the London E-Prix at the ExCeL centre.

The 2.252 km track with 22 turns runs along the Thames waterfront in London, UK. Furthermore, what can be said about the venue, is it's certainly quite unique.

Formula E fans will have everything they need, racing the previous generations of vehicles on the circuit. What is missing, however, is the upcoming generation of Formula E.

This release shows that rFactor 2 is still committed to the Formula E license and will continue to support the electric racing series.

I believe it's our responsibility as racing fans to stop electric racing before it's too late. Climate change may be a thing but we want loud racing cars running on petrol. Stop the nonsense.
You are an autocratic ignorant.
There is a thing called happiness & kindness & let people be.
You are not anywhere near that.

I am getting a yellow flag on the start/finish straight every lap in every track, AI are just doing 1 lap and returning to the pits in practice, some ai are coming into the pits after 2 laps of the race, btcc cars were just driving onto the grass on the right hand side down the backstraight at Donington GP, some very strange behaviour after this update! Anyone else having issues with AI after this update?

ive tried only Bahrain so far in the LM and the new BMW, all ive had is AI assramming off the track so far, so yes some strangeness with AI. Not tried other tracks yet. bit concerning.
Bahrain is super bright as in i cannot play it at all in day hours, looks "ok" at night.
LM is meh at best, the beamer is good, enjoying it.

edit: I see several hotfixes have deployed the last one nealry haf a gig i guess they are aware.
eedit2: Nope took the lm out at Bahrain and AI still murdering my a$$

They did post a questionnaire a few months back about the online side of it. Hopefully, the server management side of it will get some love .

I've never done any server side stuff for rF2, but I can bet it's a royal PITA :D
It´s a nightmare!! and if u forget just one step u cannot see your server or goes wrong, they are far away from Assetto or Competizione, or Ams2 with their new server manager, sometimes cannot understand Rf2 team, they are making pain theirself, and i don´t want to talk about DLC prices, 4€ the game, but 42€ a DLC with 14 cars?? ridiculous. If they sell cheaper DLC more people has content and for sure more communities on RF2 will come, but in this step, please they must renew server manager it looks like like a game from 1990, and FFB randomly bug

Not yet for me...Surely electric racing will be interesting the future, but for now they are too heavy, the tracks are too boring and they aren't nearly as powerful (or nimble) as other options. I do watch FE from time to time because I enjoy the tech, but there's no reason for me to suffer through the specs and tracks with SO MANY great options I haven't even tried yet due to lack of time.

When FE cars become twice as powerful and twice as light I'll probably join in.
