Assetto Corsa Competizione | US Tracks DLC Release Date Confirmed

ACC Land of the Free DLC Release Date.jpg
The first trailer for the upcoming Land of the Free DLC for Assetto Corsa Competizione has been released, and it confirms that the track pack will be available on June 30th, 2022.

PC players have just over two weeks to wait until they can get their hands on the upcoming Land of the Free DLC for Assetto Corsa Competizione. Kunos and 505 Games have confirmed that the new DLC featuring American circuits will be released on the last day of June, 2022.

A tweet published by the Kunos team showed some quick clips from Circuit of the Americas, Watkins Glen and Indianapolis. No confirmation has yet been given on whether this is all of the tracks that will ever be included in the DLC, or if more American tracks will be added.

We first learned about the new tracks with a few fleeting frames in a teaser video that Kunos published late last year as a keynote presentation which accompanied the version 1.8 update for PC. In typical Kunos fashion, the developer has been tight-lipped about the DLC since.

Console players should not hold their breath for a release on PlayStation and Xbox at the same time. The Gen 9 console port that PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S players were understandably excited about has been slower to incorporate updates applied to the PC version or DLC packs than players had hoped. 505 has published several statements on the matter, but all signs point to the Gen 9 versions lagging behind the PC version until late 2022.

The Land of the Free American track pack could potentially be the last content we see for Assetto Corsa Competizione, as many expect the Kunos team to shift their focus to Assetto Corsa 2.

Does the new DLC pack look like something you would be interesting in playing? What other American tracks would you like to see added? Let us know in the comments below.

AT LEAST, until recently, it has been VERY difficult to enter/leave Canada for the past couple of years.
There are no problems now. The IMSA series will be here July 1 weekend. But that should not impact developers, not just Kunos, to include this track in there sims. At the very least iRacing should update their version

F1 2022 has hypercars, why not Nordschleife in ACC?
Look at the cover of the friggin' box. READ what it says. Then look at allll the content from allll the years ACC has been available and find one, just ONE official item that is not licensed by SRO. You will note the lack of any mention of ADAC or NLS. If you haven't seen anything by this time, chances are 99.99999% that anything outside of official licensed SRO content will be not be available at any time, any way. You 'MAY' have noticed Kunos is working on AC2. Things that fall outside of the scope of an official game title could 'possibly', eventually, show up there.
But
not
ACC.
What EA Sports does with it's licenses has no bearing on Kunos' relationship with SRO. (btw, I didn't see any mention of hypercars on the official EA Sports F1 2022 website. ) If a 3rd party mod team is creating content for EA's sim, they could just as easily do the same for ACC if ACC allowed modding. I don't think Kunos allows mods do they?

That's just another name for the US. No indication that's the name of THE DLC considering its not even in the title. I expect more tracks.
A' sizziano ma sei de coccio?
You said "it's not in the video title or the tweet". It's in the tweet. I am not Kunos so let's wait ok?

I really don’t care where this „Land of The“ is, but I’ll take the free DLC.
Still don't get where 'free' used in a phrase translates to a cost of zero. I suppose we could argue that ONLY folks who live in the USA (The land of the Free) will benefit from a cost free track pack. But even with that incredibly stretched logic, there is no indication the track pack will be 'FREE.' The whole point of DLC content is to generate income. Many items have been released into sims as free add-ons, car skins mostly, some non-lasered tracks, but attaching DLC to any project indicates said project will cost the consumer money.
Take the tweet/story/press release as it was intended, a play on words by the marketing dept.

See RF2 that's how you do DLC, not releasing them one by one without context!
Rf2 is a great DLC maker, including same Cars in different DLCs, so you have to pay 2 times, and don't want to talk about their "cheaper costs", just 25€ for 4 tracks, and some of them with online bugs like Lemans, sharing same pit box for different car teams...

Truthfully I'd be annoyed if they released Nords before releasing the missing ones from the series they simulate.
Just watched the sprint race at VIR, shame that's not in the pack as it's a good track.

Those are some solid tracks. In the context of GTWC America there are no bad tracks, but I'd like for Sebring or Road America to be included in the pack. Unfortunately Road Atlanta isn't a part of this, that would have been #1 for me.

I like the American tracks a lot but Cota and Indianapolis are not my favorites. Maybe there are more to come, Sebring, Road Atlanta, Road America or Virginia.......that would be a real blast.
