Assetto Corsa Competizione | US Tracks DLC Release Date Confirmed

ACC Land of the Free DLC Release Date.jpg
The first trailer for the upcoming Land of the Free DLC for Assetto Corsa Competizione has been released, and it confirms that the track pack will be available on June 30th, 2022.

PC players have just over two weeks to wait until they can get their hands on the upcoming Land of the Free DLC for Assetto Corsa Competizione. Kunos and 505 Games have confirmed that the new DLC featuring American circuits will be released on the last day of June, 2022.

A tweet published by the Kunos team showed some quick clips from Circuit of the Americas, Watkins Glen and Indianapolis. No confirmation has yet been given on whether this is all of the tracks that will ever be included in the DLC, or if more American tracks will be added.

We first learned about the new tracks with a few fleeting frames in a teaser video that Kunos published late last year as a keynote presentation which accompanied the version 1.8 update for PC. In typical Kunos fashion, the developer has been tight-lipped about the DLC since.

Console players should not hold their breath for a release on PlayStation and Xbox at the same time. The Gen 9 console port that PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S players were understandably excited about has been slower to incorporate updates applied to the PC version or DLC packs than players had hoped. 505 has published several statements on the matter, but all signs point to the Gen 9 versions lagging behind the PC version until late 2022.

The Land of the Free American track pack could potentially be the last content we see for Assetto Corsa Competizione, as many expect the Kunos team to shift their focus to Assetto Corsa 2.

Does the new DLC pack look like something you would be interesting in playing? What other American tracks would you like to see added? Let us know in the comments below.

A bit disappointing in terms of tracks for me.. Watkins Glen is OK, Austin.. well, ok, its not often seen anywhere else except F1-Games, so at least something new.. Indy? Never was a fan of the inner circuits.. there are plenty of great american tracks and they got these 3 :(

Does the SRO series use the full circuit at COTA like F1? I know there are some alternate layouts, those might be preferable as COTA is starting to become available in many different sims.

Happy with this. COTA and Watkins Glen are great tracks. I'm not so enthused about Indy Road but any new tracks are welcome.

I was/still am hoping for the 'missing' European circuits i.e. Magny-Cours, Hockenheim and Valencia.

Looking forward to this but if these are the only NA track that will be released, I will be disappointed.

As the official game of SRO, you would think that SRO would want all the tracks in the series to be released, not just half of them. I was really looking forward to being able to run an offline season of GTWC America. As it stands now, I can do half a season.

Hopefully, this is just release one of two but the fact they named the DLC Land of the free track pack instead of Land of the free track pack 1, is slightly concerning.

I supposed they could book end GTWC America with a second DLC release called Home of the brave track pack and release the remaining tracks but with the Kunos' focus shifting to AC2, I don't know how realistic it would be to expect them to continue to support ACC beyond this latest DLC release. I hope I'm wrong.

Insta buy of course, but I was hoping for VIR, one of my favourite USA tracks. And Sebring is my favourite track in rF2, because it's the only sim that has it now.

Can anyone explain if they release only 3 tracks as show on the trailer..... What really would be the cause of not releasing the other official calender tracks...?

Licensing, cost, work required to prepare the tracks, etc what is it..?

More tracks is a good thing, I really wish they'd include all the tracks from all SRO championships.

New ACC content is always good!

Kunos, TAKE MY MONEY!!

I have not read any comments here, but probably a lot of you are whining about what they want, instead of being happy for new content and greatfull for what is coming up.... :p

I uninstalled ACC quite some time ago. An updated version of Zandvoort would suit me better, and may tempt me to install ACC again
