Assetto Corsa Competizione | US Tracks DLC Release Date Confirmed

ACC Land of the Free DLC Release Date.jpg
The first trailer for the upcoming Land of the Free DLC for Assetto Corsa Competizione has been released, and it confirms that the track pack will be available on June 30th, 2022.

PC players have just over two weeks to wait until they can get their hands on the upcoming Land of the Free DLC for Assetto Corsa Competizione. Kunos and 505 Games have confirmed that the new DLC featuring American circuits will be released on the last day of June, 2022.

A tweet published by the Kunos team showed some quick clips from Circuit of the Americas, Watkins Glen and Indianapolis. No confirmation has yet been given on whether this is all of the tracks that will ever be included in the DLC, or if more American tracks will be added.

We first learned about the new tracks with a few fleeting frames in a teaser video that Kunos published late last year as a keynote presentation which accompanied the version 1.8 update for PC. In typical Kunos fashion, the developer has been tight-lipped about the DLC since.

Console players should not hold their breath for a release on PlayStation and Xbox at the same time. The Gen 9 console port that PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S players were understandably excited about has been slower to incorporate updates applied to the PC version or DLC packs than players had hoped. 505 has published several statements on the matter, but all signs point to the Gen 9 versions lagging behind the PC version until late 2022.

The Land of the Free American track pack could potentially be the last content we see for Assetto Corsa Competizione, as many expect the Kunos team to shift their focus to Assetto Corsa 2.

Does the new DLC pack look like something you would be interesting in playing? What other American tracks would you like to see added? Let us know in the comments below.

It will be a pleasure to buy any track that Kunos will produce for ACC, the level of details and accuracy is on a totally different planes in ACC than any other game, making each track available for ACC a must have for me.

I'm happy for the 3 that have been teased in the video, but Sebring and Sonoma would also be nice.
After that? Road America for sure. I'll get the pack either way just for the added content.

unfortunatelly cota and indy are the least favorite us tracks in my book.
i expected those but actually also hoped for road america and sebring.
just with watkins glen as a "good track" in this dlc for me i probably will pass for the first time on a Kunos dlc.

Road America and Sebring would make this the best addition to ACC ever.
But I'm afraid that if they only tease these 3 tracks, that will be it. I don't think they've ever added more than 4 tracks in a single DLC (IGTC Pack). However, I was under the impression there was a still frame in one of the earlier trailers that hinted at Sebring, am I wrong?

In addition, I don't think this will neceserally be the last update or DLC. Usually the season pack gets added after the Spa 24 Hours (so august/september) - then they add all the Spa 24H teams and liveries. Maybe this year they will still add the missing European tracks (Magny-Cours, Zandvoort update?) - I'm pretty sure Hockenheim won't be included as the Fanatec eSports championship has already announced the drivers will race the championship on a different course.

Only 3 tracks?? Too less! No buy without Road America!
Yes, I hope there will be not only these 3 tracks, as well.

Awesome DLC they get in the target with Watkins Glen and Cota my favourite tracks, maybe we could see Sonoma, i think i was watching a Race there on 2021 from Gtworld, anyway is great news!!! Now i hope one day they 'll release a DLC "GT3 Legends" with Ferrari 430, BMW Z4 and Aston Martín Dbrs9
Sonoma is a must. So fast paced, relentless.

That would be a shame as we're still missing Magny Cours, Hockenheim, Valencia, the revised Zandvoort, the revised Spa, and the resurfaced Brands Hatch.

I also don't really see a problem with adding more track or car based DLC to ACC going forwards as it's likely that assets created for ACC will be reused in AC2 and vice versa.

If you purchased a further DLC for ACC, would you then spend more money to acquire the same content for AC2?

I tend to agree with those who s5ate that other US tracks on SRO's cakndar are much better : sebring (although imo GT3s are a bit too slow to fully enjoy that track, the same.with indianapolis), sonoma, both being classic tracks, st petersburg. Road america is inmo.funnier with faster categories.

I understand COTA, it's well suited for GT3s, although it is not in the vein of the old US tracks ; we know why we like these old tracks.

I also agree on Magny-Cours. What a track, with an amazing flow, with a lot of sifferent things in a.short track. Valencia is also a very good track with an amazing flow.

Asian trackq are missing too, Fuki and Sugo...

Well, it qounds I am just an old school.sim racers who likes old tracks lol. It's understandable that Kunos focuses on more modern tracks. Anyway, good job.
