Assetto Corsa Competizione | US Tracks DLC Release Date Confirmed

ACC Land of the Free DLC Release Date.jpg
The first trailer for the upcoming Land of the Free DLC for Assetto Corsa Competizione has been released, and it confirms that the track pack will be available on June 30th, 2022.

PC players have just over two weeks to wait until they can get their hands on the upcoming Land of the Free DLC for Assetto Corsa Competizione. Kunos and 505 Games have confirmed that the new DLC featuring American circuits will be released on the last day of June, 2022.

A tweet published by the Kunos team showed some quick clips from Circuit of the Americas, Watkins Glen and Indianapolis. No confirmation has yet been given on whether this is all of the tracks that will ever be included in the DLC, or if more American tracks will be added.

We first learned about the new tracks with a few fleeting frames in a teaser video that Kunos published late last year as a keynote presentation which accompanied the version 1.8 update for PC. In typical Kunos fashion, the developer has been tight-lipped about the DLC since.

Console players should not hold their breath for a release on PlayStation and Xbox at the same time. The Gen 9 console port that PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S players were understandably excited about has been slower to incorporate updates applied to the PC version or DLC packs than players had hoped. 505 has published several statements on the matter, but all signs point to the Gen 9 versions lagging behind the PC version until late 2022.

The Land of the Free American track pack could potentially be the last content we see for Assetto Corsa Competizione, as many expect the Kunos team to shift their focus to Assetto Corsa 2.

Does the new DLC pack look like something you would be interesting in playing? What other American tracks would you like to see added? Let us know in the comments below.

Hopefully, this is just release one of two but the fact they named the DLC Land of the free track pack instead of Land of the free track pack 1, is slightly concerning.
We don't know what goes on behind the scenes in getting these tracks. It might be as you say, this is what they could get to us now and the rest will come later. Although, that's probably a bit of a headache for them too, it would probably annoy people to find the DLC of the GTWC America was split in two.

I don't think I've ever really raced these tracks properly. So it's all new to me.

as a triple 1440p user, I need the next rtx 4090 to fully enjoy ACC. I like playing with beauty graphics, not satisfied with rtx 3000 and ACC at triple 1440p.

I wish they were releasing all the tracks from the Fanatec GT World Challenge America, as much as Teams and liveries etcetera.
That would just make sense.
Yes! At least Sonoma Raceway, VIRginia International Raceway and Road America.

Not sure where that photo comes from but it could even be that the DLC contains more tracks. In the end the teaser does not contain any track list or official naming, so more teasers are to be expected I think.
That pic isn't a leak, see the link below:

Every track of the 2021 season is great with, maybe, Indy as the exception. I never cared for the road course. The others are great. Virginia (if included) is an overlooked track but it’s great fun to race on (it’s included in AMS2.) It’s too bad Road Atlanta was not part of the SRO series.
CTMP (Mosport) was a regular in the series for years but missed out the past 3 years only because of Covid and travel restrictions. It should be included but like every other sim except NASCAR bizarrely and an ancient iRacing, the track is never included as an official track in sims. I hope it is part of or added before ACC closes shop for good on DLCs.

It's not that I don't like the other tracks but they have all been included many times over in other sims so although I will get the DLC it is sad to see a very famous track excluded because of a pandemic and understandable (at the time) travel restrictions.

I agree with you completely. Mosport is a wonderful, fun and fast track. I don’t understand why it is so neglected by developers.

these would be great but Road America needs to be in there too, and of course we would love to see a Mustang GT4 car to add to the series...

Insta buy of course, but I was hoping for VIR, one of my favourite USA tracks. And Sebring is my favourite track in rF2, because it's the only sim that has it now.
iRacing? been running it for ages, it's the track that convinced me buying into their scheme ten years ago. never regretted it (and had a couple of great races at their rendition of Sebring both night and day, I think there are also two layouts)

What really annoys about iRacing (even though I am at a point that with smart planning I could afford going into it "full time") is the content quality disparity. Take Mosport for example, I have it from years and years ago when I first registered via a promotion. Runoffs are all out of date. Look at Spa as well, just looks old. Although to be fair, ACC isn't doing anything about outdated tracks (Barcelona, Zandvoort) either, but it isn't subscription based.

I see your point, but the online system with sth. like 10,000 players each night European time is just way beyond anyone else, I can stomach some older layouts for that.

Back on topic: All three tracks shown in the video will provide super GT3 races, we can be sure of that!

Thrilled we're getting new tracks and really, really, REALLY hoping they see fit to include Road America! COTA and Indy road course don't do much for me but I love Watkins Glen so looking forward to giving that a spin.

The lack of new tracks in this game has really limited my play time over the last 6-8 months. Really excited to get some American tracks. I figured Indianapolis would be included since that is also on the IGTC calendar now. I'm still holding out hope for Road America and VIR though, two of my favorite tracks in the world.

That would be a shame as we're still missing Magny Cours, Hockenheim, Valencia, the revised Zandvoort, the revised Spa, and the resurfaced Brands Hatch.

I also don't really see a problem with adding more track or car based DLC to ACC going forwards as it's likely that assets created for ACC will be reused in AC2 and vice versa.
You dont seriously expect them to waste time revising all those tracks do you? They're probably shitter now too with the updates.

Have the „GT2 European Series“ liveries/number plates (Ferrari 488 Challenge Evo, CMR, 73; Scuderia Ravetto & Ruberti, 3) been there forever or were they added in yesterday’s update? Looks like some liveries have been updated to Paul Ricard spec from last week or so. Unfortunately I couldn’t find a changelog. But maybe that GT2 European Series detail is a sign of more things to come.

Where is the name "Land of the Free" coming from? It's not in the video title or the tweet and there are two anthem verses in the video.
